Update as of 4-25-24 I called Wells Fargo, the check cleared. See nothing but stress and aggravation from this bank! The team are so stupid and incompetent at this branch. This is the second mess up with this branch I experienced.

There is alway long waiting line. Tellers rude and provide bad service. I have been a bank customer for many years. Today with my expired card, I could get a service here. They did not even offer help to reorder a new card.

I recently transferred my savings plus money to a 6 months Citi saving. The young Chinese female manager changed my account to simplified banking without telling me. I was notified through email from the Citibank. The customer service is below average.

Tammie Yang was knowledgeableand professional. I went to the Geary branch and worked with the blonde Ukrainian rep. She might as well be warming the seat. Smile, friendly highhmarks. Competence a zero. She said the sender an set up her own account to send me $ on her account. I tested it and found out I needed to setup an mobile account access. I ran back to this branch and Ms. Yang did it in15 minutes. Geez, why does 1 team member know what they’re doing but the other person is useless and untrained? That branch needs to oversee their team to ensure the customers receive good service. This is a black mark on mgt. Gives Citibank a poor image.The Chinese teller took 20 minutes to do a straight deposit without cash back. Man, incompetent staff at the Geary branch.

I am currently waiting to speak to anybody on the phone it was 18 minutes before an associate would be able to respondand now it's less 30 minutes no now less than 15 minutes problem is I don't dare hang up yesterday I got hung up on twice and waited a long time on line then the system went down. I spoke to someone that didn't have a clue and did nothing to help me! This bank is nothing like it used to be I believe it's time to start looking for a new bank I've been here a long long time but my goodness 8 attempts to get help is ridiculous!

Chloe is such a warm, lovely lady that takes care of business. You can tell that she's a seasoned professional from speaking to her within seconds. Multi-lingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She's the star of this branch! Highly recommend with my utmost regard and wholehearted respect. Here comes the flame: Can't say much about their wealth advisor who doesn't even show up to work.

My boyfriend opened a brokerage account at this branch and was helped by Vietnamese young brokerage agent. There is something not kosher as he approached my boyfriend and asked him to put some funds to his personal brokerage company and it will earn better returns. This isn't acceptable as he is an employee of Citibank and should not stir customers to other companies to his own advantage. My boyfriend saw the red flags and ignored him when he returned to the bank for other business. I observed this and asked bf if he knew him why the cold shoulder to that employee. He explained to me the scenario since I wasn't there. Customers be aware of this issue. It can happen to you too!!!

The associate was courteous and nice but she did not take care of my fathers account. He is a senior and Citibank keeps charging him $25 monthly. He is on a low fixed income. She promised that seniors get free accounts and she would fix this for him. But over a month later, he received another $25 fee. It will be a pain during covid to have to change his bank with his direct deposit. We cant get any help on chat and cant get through to the 1 800 number
