Honestly trash, Especially for gaming. I would lag out like 9 times everyday when I play games. There would also be outages. (For hours) Like once a month. Don't get this wifi, get something else.

I loved their service at first. But over the last couple of days I have been experiencing a total service outage plus a couple of promises but mostly crickets from customer service. My family says drop common and go back to Comcast

Our internet has been down for over 12 hours. Nobody is answering the phones there. We got a vague email reply to our voicemail saying 24-48 hours but we don’t trust that. We need internet for work. ISP needs to answer the phone

Completely non-existent customer service. Phone number always goes to voicemail, and no return responses are ever given. Internet hasn't worked since installation day, and I can't even get ahold of anyone to help diagnose.

You will disconnect from multiplayer games all the time. You will complete disconnect form the internet every 15 minutes or so and whatever you're doing will grind to a halt. This is terrible internet.

I’ve had Common for over two years, and they’re easily the worst internet provider I’ve ever had.We had it at our old apartment and thought that the lag/latency times we experienced were due to it being an old building and interference. We moved to a new apartment and decided to try Common again because of their low prices. They came out, installed an antenna on our roof, and for a couple months we’ve had few issues. Fast forward to now, and our internet cuts out at least 1x a day for the past week. We have to reset our router every time this happens.Of course, it happens while my partner or I are in an important Zoom meeting for work or I’m gaming and get kicked out of an online match.I’m so done with Common and can’t wait to move somewhere else to have a better option than Common or Comcast.

Frequent outages and absolutely no customer service. Their status page is a lie, there are outages once a week and when I message or call customer support I get a response days later, if at all. Seriously, call the number above and see if anyone answers. When the service works it's acceptable, but weekly outages make it so I can't trust it for my job.Common has the second worst service I've ever experienced, the only company worse is Comcast. Avoid if possible.

I have at least 1 long term outage (multiple hours) per month. And frequent periods of slow speeds or short term (a few minutes) outages per month. The support desk is non responsive most of the time and when they do respond, it’s usually days after the incident. This has been bad for the last few years but in the last year with Covid, it’s really impacted my work with regular outages and no response from common. I’m really hoping Elon Musk invents the distributes internet soon to get me out of this mess.

Their support is business hours only despite being an ISP. There is no public status page. Outages and service drops for their ISP service in Alameda happen monthly.Their service places all uses behind a double NAT, resulting in issues for those who either do tech work (annoying to have to tunnel around it for work services) or for online gaming. IPv6 doesn't work properly. Fast connection during work hours and testing, which slows down and experies service drops once their office closes. You can leave them a voicemail to call you back, but they won't do it. They may eventually open a email to you, which doesn't help when your internet is down and their auto responder when you call states they'll call you back.Update as of August 23, 2019: They have a manually updated status page that doesn't actually list outages as they are occurring live. The past two days have had multiple outages, and support has promised to call me with updates on each one, and then never called me back. While I dislike the level of technical service I get from Common, they have a pro net neutrality stance that keeps me from switching ISPs to an ISP without that stance.

Don't bother. They randomly cancelled my installation less than 24 hours in advance of the appointment. On Aug 26th I made the appointment for Sept. 6th and had gotten all sorts of reminders about the appointment and friendly welcome notes for 10 day but then they cancelled and did nothing to try to resolve it. I took off work that whole day to be home for the appointment and got nothing but a lost day and no I internet. No one responded when I emailed customer support and the live chat guy went completely silent, no typing bubbles or anything. It doesnt seem like they actually care about customers as people, but instead like numbers to show traction and users to investors. They wasted my time and money and couldn't care any less.

This has been the best Internet company we have had experience with including Comcast, Dish, AT&T, and in another location, Century Link. The installation is quick and convenient. They use TP link equipment which in my experience is highly reliable. The WIFI bandwidth is higher than advertised even with the basic rate. Everyone we have dealt with in the company has been courteous and professional.A happy San Leandro customer.

I wish I could give it better rating. I really like the company and the concept and want them to succeed. But service interruptions in the south bay are WAY too frequent and have gotten worse since the stay at home orders have been in place. I am seriously contemplating switching to a different provider as I NEED reliable service at home.

was not worth the hassle. the router is uglier than they say, the antenna is uglier than they say. and the service is essentially non-existant. They dont pick up the phone. if the issue is something complicated all they can say is.. "well it doesn't look down from where im sitting" i had to download the manual for the router to figure out what it was going wrong.

This has been a great experience. First two months were free. Great speeds for several months. And then they LOWERED the monthly cost from $50 to $39. Awesome!

i cannot play league of legends with this excuse of a wifi network,,, consistently, i see my wifi disconnecting and closing from my computer. it's annoying and inconsistent. it doesn't make sense at all? "Fast internet, simple pricing". no. SLOW internet, simple pricing
