They were out of Disinfecting wipes in both of the Yoga studios, which was very disappointing Given the fact that we are in another wave of COVID and there is a new strain out right now. also, the class costs $36 each. And so you would think that they wouldn't be out of health and safety supplies. They state on their website that Disinfecting wipes are available at every studio but that was a lie and false advertising. I was unable tp Disinfect the weights they provide that everyone touches.

CorePower is a fit for the right person. I am not that person, but I appreciate it for what it is. If you're coming to workout, you'll be satisfied and they do a great job getting the heart rate pumping in sculpt classes. 5:00pm and after you're packed in like sardines (35+ people) and it can be hard to move. Get there early. Prior to 5:00pm the classes have much more space. My reason for this review being three stars is that the practice of yoga seems to be an afterthought in most classes. The intent of yoga seems to be missing, there isn't a priority put on honoring the natural flow of breath and how that aligns with movement. They're going through the motions. Even the flow classes have a rushed feel with the intent being to just get you sweating as fast as possible as opposed to really exploring your practice. Again, great for the right person looking to move their body. I appreciate the optionality of class times overall, and the consistency for what it is.

Prefer this location. Has single stall restrooms which is awesome especially for trans and non-binary folks. Clean studio. Friendly staff. Good instruction, variety, and frequency of early (6:30am) classes which make it a preferred studio. Location offers what other CPY studios do not. =)

Glad to be back at CPY after a few years break. The people are kind of young here but everyone is very nice. Also I have only been here twice so far but I walked in and they remembered me and made me feel welcomed. I have been taking the yoga sculpt classes and both the teachers I have tried kicked my booty. Also, the showers are few but never busy:)

1. Are all the instructors fantastic? Absolutely and that’s pretty much all that really matters! thank u for keeping my third eye wide open.2. Is the new morning schedule (615/630am) life-changing? 100%. I suspect the only people who consistently *paid* to go at 545am were a strong minority of super-humans and/or sociopaths. On the other end of the spectrum was 7/715am, which was great...for the equally rare, mythically chill folk who can roll into work at a soft 10 and be fully cool about it.3. Is it the nicest Corepower studio in the world? No, the rooms are windowless beige boxes but that is ok. Even though some people say the fluorescent lights in there “drain the soul”, those people obviously have flimsy souls.

I had Sera as my instructor and she was amazing! Got such a good workout and my abs and legs were burning by the end of class. I am hooked and can’t wait to go back!

The instructor could have been more polite when she informed (after the class) that listening to your own preferred music and responding to emergency texts is not allowed at CorePower.1: I know, obviously texting is a no-no. But I was in the darkest back corner as far back as you can go, hiding my phone while responding to emergency texts. In retrospect, I should have left the room to do so. when a customer makes a mistake, you can inform them about your strict policy in a NICE way. I wasn’t informed about any strict policies when I signed up at CorePower.2: when the music chosen by the instructor sucks (some kind of rnb background noise was playing) I can either leave the class (I should have done that) or slip in my airpods.I didn’t argue with her, and I assured her that she should not take it personally. After my experience with yoga instructor DeAnna, I did not feel like signing up for another month at CorePower again. Such a shame, because had she been nice I would have paid for another month on the spot. But she probably has a point; even though I can afford more than they charge, I am probably not the best CorePower customer, because I prefer the amenities (warm studio) over following the instructor, because if the instructor is having a bad day, I am very sensitive to it, and I am not a good follower to a “leader” (Yoga instructor) who is not giving off their best energy in the class.
