We’ve been hoping to purchase a sofa from Dom and the team at the Sofa Company for over a year and had recommended our friends to them prior who also had a very positive experience. We are thoroughly pleased with our final product (sectional with storage ottoman that converts to a queen size bed for guests). The customization options were endless at NO EXTRA COST! The pricing was ridiculously affordable and the turn around time was incredibly fast. If you’re finally ready to step up your sofa game and break up with IKEA, you have to go to the Sofa Company!

Ordered two couches from this place just about 2 months apart, and Dom & Julio were both awesome to work with! Both couches were completely different kinds with different fabrics, one a sleeper, one a huge sectional, and both turned out great. Throughout the process they helped us figure out our options and how we can really customize it to our liking. Once it was all ordered these couches were ready for delivery within just like 3 weeks. On top of that Dom & Julio were always very helpful via text as we had to navigate some difficulties with sizing the couches and then scheduling delivery, and all of this for a great price. Thank you both! I highly recommend them!

Was recommended these guys from a couple of clients, and I have been beyond impressed with the service and the quality of the couch.
Dom and Julio went above and beyond to help us out with the process, they let us take home tons of samples to test out, made great recommendations for us (As we have cats) and were able to craft a couch based on our exact recommendations. Truly every step of the way was customizable and they were helpful throughout the entire process.
We received the new couch within 3 weeks of placing the order. I cannot express how much we absolutely love this couch, and what a major upgrade it has been over our 2 year old west elm couch that we outgrew super quickly.
Maybe the best part is that they ended up being CHEAPER than some of the non-customizable brands we were looking at. Knowing that they are a local business that is there to help with any needs is a major plus.
Dom and Julio are stand up guys, they do business right and they have amazing products. Seriously, if you are thinking about getting a new couch make this place your first stop and save yourself the time of looking elsewhere

This was truly amazing experience from beginning to end. Dom who met us a few months ago is what all customer service should look like. So kind and patient and exceptionally knowledgeable about everything there is to know about with sofas, cushions, material, legs and all the customization that goes along with it. And he had a lot of great ideas which we definitely used. All throughout the process he worked with us closely including to the day that we received the sofa and even afterwards. Highly recommended without reservation!

This place is absolutely awesome for custom sofas! We got a beautiful custom sofa here, totally customized, and for a much, much better price than a sofa that you’d find at a large retailer. The design, structure and materials are all top notch. Their team is also awesome - Dom (owner) and Julio were especially great. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely everything about this experience was awesome. Dom is friendly, engaging, and helpful--to the point of not eating lunch, which I begged him to do--without any pressure whatsoever. Dom helped me pick out the perfect style, fabric, cushions, and measurements and even loaned me a swatch book on a handshake.
White Glove delivered my sofa two weeks and one day later, on a Sunday. They arrived well within the delivery window and the guys were friendly and efficient.
I can't recommend Custom Sofa Co. highly enough. If you're looking for a great experience buying a great piece of furniture at a great value, then look no further.*

Best Couch Ever!! I have lower back pain and I’ve had 4 different couches in ten years, each one never quite right and just not comfortable enough but thanks to Custom Sofa Co., we’ve finally have the best one. Every part of the couch was customizable. We picked the Telegraph design with Leslie linen fabric. We love the modern design and the fabric is incredibly cozy and soft but still sturdy and washable! Dom was so kind to let me borrow a ton of large fabric samples to take home which was amazing because it made it super quick and easy to pick a color and fabric that would be perfect for our apartment. It’s always so hard to imagine from a tiny square swatch. Our couch took only 4 weeks to arrive and we absolutely love it. I’m so happy we upgraded to the 15 year warranty foam too for only $500 more. Great price, great quality and fantastic customer service.

This service and product is HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The owner and person, Dom, was seamless in guiding my partner and I through the process of customizing our couch. We chose the Valencia style for the depth and comfort for the apartment. Two an estimated two weeks for them to build and were quick to respond to any questions we had. LOVE IT!!!! Chose a moss green boucle which complimented the space also there insight really helped us on quality of firmness for the cushions. We also loved that this place was locally San Francisco owned in the Castro area and partnered with facilities here in the Bay Area to create the couch. Sooo if you want locally sourced, family owned business, and quality service this place is GREAT! Also affordable prices for these custom pieces. We are so happy with it ?

A customer for life! Every aspect of my purchase with Dom has been unsurpassed. I have interactions with multiple SF Design Center showrooms as a interior designer but nothing compares to my experience with Custom Sofa. The store's customization options are so extensive that while it's easy to get overwhelmed, Dom's knowledge and patience help you see your way clear.
