Disappointing experience. While I understand the need to secure items, the complete lack of staff to help us access products is unacceptable. I had to leave without the medicine I needed, due to a lack of assistance.

Warning**Do not come here if you don’t have an hour to shopping here. This CVS locations locked there most items on the shelf. I been shopping here a few times. So every time I have to wait at least 15-20 mins till there employee come to unlock shelf for me. Especially Asian lady who work there. She never care about customers. Even you go to let her know that you are there. I would give 0 star if I could. Compared to Geary Blvd CVS they gonna come to help you as soon as you ring the bell.

they’re too busy chasing down thieves and yelling at people to actually pay attention to the people who are trying to buy things. The shelves are bare and everything is locked up. Avoid this dump at all costs. If i could give it zero stars, I would.

The customer service at checkout was courteous and efficient. Even though it was very busy, the guy took the time to ask if I was a member and if I wanted to use my points. This location is great because of this level of personalized service.

This place saved me on a cold evening where I was unprepared. They have hats, scarves, and gloves for just $3-$5 a pop. The staff was very friendly and helpful too!

They closed 10 minutes early and had the audacity to act like it wasn't their problem, but the several customers trying to shops problem. Their look of disregard, and disapproval, and lack of work ethic to stay open during their advertised hours was appalling. As a health store people go there with unique demands and closing early to leave early is atrocious and infuriating. It's a shame the staff tonight will leave thinking they did nothing wrong.

I visited the CVS located at 799 Beach Street during the week of November 10, 2023. I was looking at the Poparazzi nail polish in a dark green color when a male employee named Amer approached me and accused me of committing theft. He lied, saying that he saw me place something into my bag. I had stolen NOTHING. I shopped at this location often and there were two women employees there--Arianna and Christine--who had seen and serviced me constantly in the store. The two did nothing to intervene. I went to the front of the store and asked for the name of the manager. I was told that Amer was the one in charge. Amer continued to verbally bash me in front of a long line of primarily white customers, accusing me of theft and threatening me with calling the cops if I didn't leave. Amer repeatedly thrusted his hands into my face as if to shoo away a fly, yelling at me to get out. He demanded to search my bag, though he did NOT request that of anyone else in the store as the majority of them also possessed some type of backpack, purse, or shopping bag. Amer asked me who I thought I was, coming into the store and talking to them as I was, although my reaction was directly in response to his belligerent profiling, assault and harassment. Because of his asinine insinuations and the performance that he put on, all of the other shoppers were looking at me as if I had entered CVS and committed an offense. I was singled out based on Amer's personal prejudice and ASSumptions. He never called the police, though I told him to be my guest, as he knew that he was in the wrong. There was no justification for antagonizing me as such in the first place, which was why I did not leave until I concluded with what I needed to at the register. This was the most abhorrent experience that I have ever had in any CVS location. It is apparent that Consumer Value Stores painfully lacks any degree of actual value in the consumer based on the manner in which this location openly and shamelessly vilified me.
