Everything is locked away. It’ll take 10 minutes for someone to arrive to help you unlock the cabinet to get the item you want. Congratulations, purchasing 6 things from cvs will take an hour. Staff is rude, unhelpful as well.

This store was horrible CVS is trying to combat theft but at the same time not everybody is a thief that goes into their store and when we get a product behind the security plastic we would like to be able to put it in our basket and carried around with this so that when we get done shopping we can go up front and have an actual human cashier help us pay for it and give us a receipt and leave this store doesn't care about respect of customers they're all the time fearful that everybody that comes in their store is a thief and it is very disrespectful and it makes me not want to shop at your stores and to move my prescriptions to Walgreens because at the end of the day they have respect for their customers

this is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a CVS pharmacy, they had me call my Doctor to resolve something on the phone. After a brief hold I had reached the doctor and was trying to hand them the phone, but right then the clock struck 1:30 and they were like oh sorry we’re closing for lunch and closed the window on me.

Bo was very rude! Instead of helping me she focused on restocking. She gave me the wrong location another worker with longer hair helped me locate the product which was in a different aisle. Bo opened the cabinet and then she snatched the items and brought them to the register not even asking me if I was done looking. Very rude!

Don’t bother showing up two minutes late after the pharmacy closes hoping that they will let you quickly pick up and pay for your prescription that is already ready. A rude, loud lady behind the pharmacy counter won’t let it happen if her life depended on it.

I come here often to pick up meds and wanted to say that the pharmacy manager Glenn and his staff are always patient, friendly and most importantly care and willing to help. Really makes me look forward to the trip every time :)

employees are friendly and amazing considering they fight off junkies stealing every hour......inventory low poor selection, and locked up due to theft.....pharmacy overworked and clientele questionable.....will be interesting to see how long this store stays open......

I shopped regularly at this store for several years. Friendly, helpful staff BUT I have never encountered a store so consistently out of stock of so many items. I complained many times but nothing changes. Also, prices of almost everything in the store have soared in the last couple of years to shocking levels. I am talking 30%, 50%, sometimes even more on household items, toiletries, OTC medicines, etc.. I now do most of my shopping on Amazon, et. al..

Place tried to charge me for a prescription of Benadryl because they sold it over the counter even though my insurance covered it. They have zero selection on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is locked up. You have to ask them to unlock ANYTHING you want to buy. This place deserves -10 stars

CVS Van ness has improved their service a lot in these past few months. The Pharmacy manager Mr. Glen is always available to address any concerns or queries. He is very friendly, Professional and knowledgeable at the same time. He helps me whenever I have any questions regarding any medication or its availability. This is one of the best CVS in the city. All the employees here are very Professional and helpful. This outlet is very clean as well compared to other CVS in the city. Even though the pharmacy can get a little crowded in the evenings, there won’t be much long queue before 4 pm. And, you can always ask for Mr. Glen if you ever need any assistance.
