Not only unprofessional, but also very bad attitude. Today I went to get medicine, I went there specially. Because the first time I went there, the pharmacist inside didn't give me one medicine. I had to go a second time. In the afternoon, I met a pharmacist assistant, who didn't seem to know how to check what medicines were available on the computer. Then another person who seemed more senior came over and asked me a lot of questions. She was very fierce and spoke in a tone, as if she was busy and was disturbed by me. I have already made it clear that I received a call from CVS yesterday, so I came to get it. If you don't believe it, forget it, why are you shouting at me? When you knew it was the pharmacist assistant's problem, you didn't give me a friendly response out of politeness. When you wanted to recheck my personal information with me today, you didn't explain to me in advance why. My information is my privacy. If you need to check, you must tell me and let me know why. You didn't do that at all and your attitude was very bad, arrogant and impolite. I will transfer the prescription to another pharmacy and I will not come again. Give you one star and don't waste other people's time👎

This location used to be fine but I’ve had nothing but bad experiences lately. The pharmacist is extremely unpleasant, he treats you as if you’re stupid and wasting his time with any questions. And the assistant who works the pickup oftentimes now never seems to know what she’s doing or how to answer basic questions and has to rely on the pharmacist

The pharmacist is incredibly rude… he made me so uncomfortable that I didn’t receive my medication instructions I had to leave the building :( I’ll never be returning to that pharmacy again. Please work on how you address people we are just trying to get our medication

The Geary location is so much better than the Hyde St location in counter/checkout wait times. However, stay away from pharmacist Aileen. She is extremely unprofessional, combative and accusatory. I was not shown my medication completely, only the name when checking out. When I got home, I noticed the quantity of pills wasn't correct. It didn't match my previous refill of the same prescription. When I called to inquire about it, she said it was my fault for not checking the RX on pickup and I had initialed the screen that all was accurate. I explained I didn't think I had to confirm quantity/instructions on the same prescription for a refill when I saw it was the correct med. She said was following the doctor's written prescription. I asked how come the previous refill of the medication on the exact same prescription I picked up was done correctly and this one wasn't. She said that pharmacist would be in trouble if an audit was done. She follows things to a T. What she did was correct. I was wrong in not confirming and would need a new prescription from my provider. She then put me on hold for a long time I assume expecting me to hang up which I did not. When she returned, she pretended she couldn’t hear me and kept saying hello? hello? When I said something to the effect like please, I know you can hear me. She responded I cannot. Caught her. The whole interaction was truly unbelievable. It was like interacting with a small child who is having a temper tantrum. You betcha every time now I request that the checkout person show me the medication name AND instructions/quantity no matter how many refills of the same prescription there is.
All the other pharmacists I have interacted with there are professional and even upbeat. Thank goodness.

CVS at target on Geary has the most positive easy to deal with staff ! They are all very efficient and really try hard. Such a tough job and our family is beyond impressed and grateful!

The staff was friendly and got me in for a vaccine that I needed on a whim. Roger Yan, the head pharmacist, was professional and friendly.

This CVS pharmacy here in Target are exceptional people! Each one greets with a smile, lots of positivity, resourceful, helpful, consideration and all has become my family tribe. The pharmacy works efficiently and you can sense team work. They pay attention to details and always ask if I have any questions. They all need to be given a pay raise or move up to leadership/management! Shout out to :

I've also had extremely rude customer service from Aileen. She gave incorrect information about my prescription and berated me in front of other customers when I countered with the correct information. The other pharmacist is wonderful. Why do they keep this person on staff when she lacks interpersonal skills? Crazy!

Great Pharmacy it seems that everyone is always working hard to best assist people. This pharmacy has caught several issues with my friend's prescriptions which has made sure that they are safe. If a doctor has written the wrong script which happens or wrong dosage the pharmacist are on there job to make sure it gets corrected. I think this pharmacy is a life saver for the most part, and has its busy times of course. If you want to make sure your prescription is ready call ahead of time to avoid being cranky if there is a line. I highly suggest this pharmacy if you want to get your medications correct. Also the only time there is a line when I have went with my friends is if someone hasn't worked out their insurance or wants to use a thing called good rx to lower the price of their prescription at the last moment. If you get that worked out beforehand it seems that there is never a line which is always pleasant. I know we all want our prescriptions just to feel better so let's help each other, and then out. They are such a nice group of staff members. Oh almost forgot they have a lunch break at 1:30-2pm so don't come around that time. They will be closed, and you will be disappointed if in a rush. It has happened before for me and my friends.

Terrible customer service misinformation from multiple workers. I called and spoke on the phone to get a prescription transferred and when I got there it "was never put in the system" so they told me to get in ANOTHER line and wait yet again due to their incompetence. I was told it should be ready in 15mins but when I get to the counter of this new line they told me 20-30mins... Poor communication and delegation.
