This place is crazy!!! I'd prefer to go to any of the other Bay Area Daisos without so many tourists.

Anytime in San Francisco I pop by Daiso to stock up on japanese bowls, so good in price and if you pick carefully those made in Japan they are a true bargain for less than 2$ also a great place to buy Japanese paper and Japanese design cello tape

There are many useful affordable items for any situation. Home goods and repairs, snacks and cute japanese souvenirs, this place has everythingyou may need. I came to japantown to stay overnight but I forgot my charger back home without realizing it, the staff was very helpful and I was able to get what I needed for the rest of my stay and a little extra.

Daiso was a heavenly experience. I was unsure whether or not to go but my good friend convinced me to go in. Inside I found aisles and aisles of treasures and trinkets. The inside of Daiso was bustling with activity and people. We ended up buying a few snacks but everything was worth buying if I could. 10/10 would visit again.

This place is by far the best place to go. They have literally a little bit of everything there and at a good price. The first Diaso I've visited was on LA, CA. After that, I've been addicted ever since, as well as my family. I've been to the locations in Sacramento, CA, San Jose CA, Oakland, CA, and now here in the locations in San Francisco, CA. They just have everything I need.

If you're in Japantown, your visit is not complete without going here. It is located in the East Mall near the Peace Plaza. First and biggest store when you enter the building, so it's easy to spot. This store is equipped with what you would find in a typical Daiso--organization, electronics, home, apparel, etc. It has everything you want, need, and didn't know you even needed.Because Japantown is a popular location, the store tends to be packed, even moreso when it's the weekend or there's an event going on. The line usually stretches all the way around the corner of the store and it gets hard to walk around the aisles. Sometimes there are boxes of items that are yet to be organized, limiting the pathways even more.Overall though, this is a great discount store with so many cute finds, and this place is a must whenever I go to Japantown.

I spent way too much in this store but it’s really hard not to because there are so many great bargains and so many things that I saw that I needed or could use!

In my hundreds of visits here have I never been disrespected and met cashiers as monotone with lack of customer service than on a Sunday night. When your sign reads "Last entry: 7:50," common sense and also anyone who can read would comprehend that at 7:48, customer has a right to enter a store. If that's not the case then change your sign and stop advertising false information.

Amazing as you would expect. The three items on the right is what I got from daiso. It's crowed and there are loads of people there which means it's good. The line looks pretty long but it goes quick. The cashiers there were ringing people out pretty quick.

So much great organizing stuff for any room in the house. Lots of socks and doo-dads for hair. At great prices. I revamped my closet for less than $100.00. I was in my way to Target when I ran across this store and saved a ton of money! It's now my #1 place to go before I go to one of the. Other home stores.

Very clean, up to standards with other Daiso chains. Lots of products that are thoughtful and creative for around the home use and at affordable prices. The price guide is clearly marked around the store to help you determine the price of any items. Gets plenty of foot traffic being part of the center of Japantown.
