  My son went here back in 2005 and is now 23 years old. So grateful for DiscoveryLand being a part of our family's journey. He learned to count in a Chinese dialect and learned so many songs while there! He had many awesome teachers, and we remember Mrs. Yang, Mrs. Stevens, and Pastor Hall for their dedication and care. Thanks Discoveryland!

  Marina and the teachers at Discovery Land treat all the kids like they are family and genuinely care about their growth, health, and happiness. Our daughter attended from age one to three, starting in the younger classroom and moving to the older classroom when she was two. We noticed a huge boost in her talking, singing, and creativity in the ‘big kids’ classroom- she particularly loved the Spanish lessons, painting projects, and music. Lunch and snacks are provided throughout the day. We were very comfortable communicating with Marina (about doctor’s appointments, early pickups, etc.) and she always communicated necessary information and updates. Very grateful for the care and attention of everyone at Discovery Land and the friends we made as newcomers to the neighborhood!

  My children both went to Discoveryland as their first daycare - both started at 4-5 months on the infant side, and then you have a guaranteed spot in the toddler side. There are two homes next door to each other, so it makes pickup easy if you have two and the transition easier as your baby grows up. The facilities are very clean and they have clean decks in the backyard so the kids can play outside every day, and they are very good at napping (on a schedule, get excited if you’re not there yet!) and starting solids and developing healthy eating habits. The toddlers get a Spanish teacher, dancing/movement/singing, and art projects daily. Marina is in contact daily with pictures and updates and is always available if you need anything or have any kind of emergency illness, doctor's appointment, etc. Highly recommend!

  We have had our son at discoveryland since he was 10 months old (now almost 2) and it has been an incredible experience. They take such good care of him and he loves his time there. It is such a gift to be able to have him in a daycare where we feel confident and secure that he is safe, loved and nurtured. Could not recommend a daycare more!

  Highly recommend this amazing home based daycare. My son started on the toddler side at 18 months old, and had the best experience. They sing songs, have Spanish class, do awesome art projects, and spend tons of time outdoors in the huge yard. The owner Marina is a great communicator, and we get cute picture updates throughout the week. All the food is provided as well. 10/10! Go check it out - you won't regret it!

  My daughter went to Discovery Land from 18 months to 3 years old. She attended both the little kids daycare and the preschool and she absolutely loved it. Marina, the owner, is very easy to communicate and sends pictures throughout the day to keep us posted.
  My daughter came home with very clean clothes every day, she always wanted to go back to school the next day without hesitation. Most importantly, she made new friends at Discovery Land and we built a community.

  My son had a wonderful experience at DiscoveryLand! He started attending at 18 months old and continued until he was 3 years old. He cherished every moment spent with Marina and her team. Dropping him off in the morning was always a joy, as he felt comfortable and loved under Marina's care.Marina and her team are truly amazing, providing exceptional care for my son. They offer homemade meals and healthy snacks daily, ensuring he was always well-fed. My son felt right at home at DiscoveryLand and wasn't hesitant to ask for more food if he needed it.We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Marina's school and are immensely grateful for everything she has done for our son. I highly recommend DiscoveryLand to any parent seeking quality childcare.

  Marina and her whole team of teachers are truly amazing. Both of my kids went to Discoveryland. Marina's was the second daycare for my first son and it was far better. So much better we automatically had the second one attend and stayed with Marina for like 5 years. Marina cared for them like they were her own children and was always so sweet and supportive of them. She also took care of us parents and I felt supported with her looking after my kids. My kids were happy to see the teachers every day and come home with their projects. The other families are super great and always talk outside during pick up time, while the kids often run around and play. When both of my children moved on from DiscoveryLand, they were happy to have some friends from Marina's at their new preschool. Marina builds a very supportive community among the parents and teachers. I am very lucky I found her! :)

  We sent both of our children to Discovery Land, our first starting at 8 months and the second at 6 months. We have been nothing short of pleased with Marina's program. The teachers are warm, caring, and communicative. The amazing community of parents is an added bonus! We have watched our babies blossom into little people. Our children were always happy to go to school, which provided a huge sense of relief as new parents. As our daughter transitioned to pre-school, it was clear that she was prepared with socially and academically. We moved from the neighborhood or would have kept our soon there as well. Our last day was bittersweet knowing what great care they had received but also excited to see them so prepared for their next chapter! Thank you Marina!

  Marina and her team took in my son in the early stages of the pandemic, and cared for him from four months until he was 3.25. I was initially drawn to Marina's warmth, dedication, and the lovely space, complete with an ocean-view outdoor play area. It's a special feature that there are side by side infant and toddler/little kid programs, so both babies and kids get age-appropriate support and activities. From my son's earliest days, I knew that he was loved and cared for - and Marina's long experience meant that she knew tricks for tummy time and nap time that made her feel as much like a parenting mentor as a daycare provider. As my son grew, he built confidence and skills - at 2, he was singing his ABCs, counting to 20, and recognizing his letters. At 2.5, he was singing songs in Spanish thanks to the wonderful Spanish teacher who comes in to play games and practice Spanish daily. Marina takes so much pride in her program, keeping immaculately clean facilities, cooking healthy food for the kids, and organizing celebrations for birthdays and holidays, such as a Christmas party complete with "Santa" distributing gifts. She treats her teachers with love and support, so the whole team works closely together and with minimal turnover. She and the other teachers work with you to address any needs that arise, and communicate kindly and discreetly when there are challenging behaviors. Finally, the program is small, warm, and fosters community connections. Parents stay and chat with each other and Marina at pick up; people have been warm, open, and fun to see outside of school. Being at Marina's has truly made us feel a part of the parent community in the neighborhood, and I am as grateful for that as the excellent care they have provided. We loved our time at Discoveryland and highly recommend it!

From the tender age of 3 months until he transitioned to pre-kindergarten at 4 years old, Marina and the entire team at Discovery Land Childcare have provided an outstanding level of care and education that has truly enriched our lives.Marina, in particular, has been a shining star in Alex's early years. Her dedication, warmth, and nurturing nature have created a loving and secure environment for Alex to thrive in. I always felt confident leaving my precious child in her capable hands.   We put both our kids through DiscoveryLand from 6 months old to 3 years old. They loved every minute of it. Marina and her staff are wonderful, they really cared and loved for our children. Would highly recommend.

  My two daughters loved Discoveryland!! They took such good care of both girls from aged six months through three years. The owner has decades of experience and loves the kids as her own grandkids. It ended up being more of a community than just a daycare.

  Our daughter attended daycare here from 5 months of age until transitioning recently to preschool. Marina and her staff were wonderful- we feel fortunate to have found them during the pandemic when securing childcare was difficult. Our daughter's transition at first was challenging (as it often can be) with bottle feeding and napping, but with their experience, care, and creativity things quickly worked themselves out. Marina creates a strong community/ family feel and we would recommend her daycare wholeheartedly.
