What a rip off
New bank details, in order to enter them we should cancel our old tariff and take out a new one. Instead of EUR 50, it now only costs EUR 220 plus a monthly EUR 10 on top for extra storage. After 2 years we would get 440 EUR per month. The trend is rising at 10 EUR per month. The employees lie and after the tariff has been ordered you are thrown out of the chat. So now our long-standing business relationship is ending with a loud bang. As you can read here, a lot of people probably felt that way. The competitor offers this entirely for EUR 20 per month. Stay away from Dropbox.

Have used them for years, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I have a business account for a small business and use gmail at work, I can't email support because it doesn't recognize gmail as a "work" email and flags my email as an error. Who is dropbox to say I can't use gmail for my business? We're not all giant corporations out here... the Thumbnails fail to load 90% of the time. Even when changing to Extra Large view, it takes 5 minutes for a picture folder to load and show you the picture(s) you're looking for. It takes years for them to solve the most minor glitches, and the large issues seem to never get solved. They have a whole community with thousands of online complaints about the same problem and make no effort to correct it and please their customers.

This company is nothing but crooks. I never ever gave them a credit card since downloading the free version years ago and suddenly they are taking $19.99 a month out of my bank account. How did they get my credit card? The bank says I have to cancel, I can't dispute through them. Yet when I go on Dropbox to cancel, there is no contact number, no way to cancel, just a lot useless articles. Someone should sue this company. I am now out $40 and back to the bank to cancel my card for the second month in a row. This time, I will have my bank turn off the automatic subscription rollover. DO NOT sign up for even a basic free account because this could happen to you. They have their fingers in everything.

Dropbox extensions have taken over! Can't access bank acc. or links not associated to ANYTHING! No customer service #! Will have to delete dropbox account and hope That will solve my problem. I can't even access customer service links in their web!...So I thought I had deleted my dropbox account, so I could get back control of my computer, I was instructed that "In order to delete your account you have to change your password" so I did and it was not deleted. Only the password was changed.

Beautiful campus maintained by the talented team at Longfellow. Great location in downtown with endless options for meals, all within walking distance.

I've had Dropbox since 2015; an upgraded account - not just the free basic account. The one time I could use some customer service and it just wasn't available. Just a maze of automated redirections that leads you nowhere... just frustration. I won't be using Dropbox again; it's just not worth it...

Dropbox Downfall: Shattered Trust and Sky-High Price SurgeInitially charmed by Dropbox's unlimited storage offer, our company overlooked its sluggish performance, slow upload times, and frequent crashes, believing the expansive storage for both team and private accounts justified these shortcomings. Our faith in Dropbox was dramatically undermined when, with only a few months' warning, they revoked our unlimited storage agreement, thrusting us into uncertainty—not from misuse, but in our quest for efficient data management. The shock deepened when Dropbox's solution was to propose a continuation of our services at a rate 10 times that of our original agreement. This wasn't a slight rate adjustment but a steep, indefensible price hike, revealing a stark indifference to customer loyalty and sound business ethics. This ordeal has starkly illuminated Dropbox's true stance, not as the steadfast ally we anticipated but as a corporation willing to forsake longstanding trust for financial gain. The abrupt end of our agreement and the subsequent outrageous price quote expose a disconcerting corporate mentality at Dropbox, with a clear preference for profit over customer care and reliability. To those contemplating Dropbox, let our story be a cautionary tale. Peer past the enticing initial offers to the potential for unforeseen financial demands and ethical dilemmas. Our journey from reliance to disenchantment with Dropbox highlights the critical need for selecting partners who prioritize ethical integrity and transparency.

One of the worst companies. They have a part of their company called FormZwift. Tina (Assistant Support Manager) said if you forget to cancel before the 30 day trial is up, then you will be charged $96 for a full year. If you try to cancel after you have been charged, you will not give you a refund but instead they will give you a pointless document credit that doesn't expire. Terrible business model and not fair to people that are just wanting to try it out a few times to see if it's something that you need going forward. Horrible experience as a customer and not something I have ever experienced before. Tina was no help and was actually passive aggressive in her emails.

The good reviews say stuff like "Good lunch here" or "Excellent place to work". But most customers have the same complaint: very, very difficult to cancel their subscription fees.
