I don't remember names but the guys and one gal at Dunn-Edwards were great helping me find the right type of paint. I told them I did not know what the hell I was doing and from that point to about 15-minutes later-done. I went to my car to check in with neighbors and the painter and came back on the same day to pick up the paint, Apricot Glow.

I am a local mural artist and have bought paint at a large cross section of Bay Area stores. I stopped by Dunn Edwards to check it out and will probably use them exclusively for exterior projects from now on. I was greeted by Emily, who was SO AMAZING- we pored over my mockup, took swatches out to the sunlight to color match, and found me the perfect colors for my project. She was above and beyond, and prices were on par to what I normally see in competitors stores. The difference here is top notch customer care. Ten stars, Emily, you rule.

Call your order in and pick up was so easy and accessible. Way less anxiety than going into Lowe's during the pandemic. Check store hours before heading over there.

We just moved and have been doing a lot of work on the new place and Dunn-Edwards Paints - San Francisco has been an awesome local spot to have around. Can pop down for some extra paint and more paint rollers, ergonomic staple gun, replacement for the lost philips head screw driver... whatever it may be the folks here are always super friendly and helpful and willing to answer my plethera of questions. An awesome resource to have just a few blocks away.

Is open on Saturdays, but not on Sundays. Had a good experience buying my interior house paint here. Nice customer service and they allowed us to bring a dog inside on a warm day. They matched a BM color for us and we also bought several DE colors and primer. Mostly caters to commercial clients. I have severe allergies and mild asthma that's triggered by strong odors, such as paint. Their zero VOC line was odor free and never triggered my asthma. Paint coverage after priming 2X over a dark navy color wasn't quite as good I expected, was even but tone seems to still be coming through the white paint. But haven't painted enough to know if that's normal or not. Also have heard that sometimes that can be an issue with zero VOC. Their roller covers and brushes were okay, but I feel I had a better application experience with Purdy brushes and White Dove roller covers. +ample parking +paint recycling

Dunn Edwards paint has been an excellent choice for our homeowner association. We have used this paint for eight years and have found that the quality, along with the expert application, has dramatically helped to preserve the siding on our homes. We have the good fortune to have John Thrower as our representative. John helped us from the very beginning with choice of colors, sheen, specifications and selection of a paint vendor. Our homes look great and present a clean, crisp appearance thanks to good quality paint and great painters from Ross Painting.

Didn't know anything about paint and the guy who makes the tint basically told me which types of paint were good to use. His name is John who is pretty cute too and he was pretty knowledgable. The place is pretty big and open at 6:30 in the morning. They also match paint colors from other big name brand companies. I was pretty happy with my purchase!

Bought a gallon of interior white semi gloss to repaint our front door and trim inside, that had previously been painted with their product. Paint was the worst I have ever used over the past 40 years. Would not flow at all, looked terrible. I brought it back and they and a painting contractor who was in the store at the time told me to use EXTERIOR enamel inside, as it worked better. I got my money back and bought a gallon of that product. and a bottle of Flowtrol. That was somewhat better, after a liberal application of Flowtrol additive, but looked nowhere near the previous DE paint that was on the wood. Now I see why Consumer Reports gives them such bad ratings. Back to Home Depot, as their paint is far cheaper and works a lot better.
