I am not a negative Nancy. I rarely give one star reviews. I feel obligated to share my experience for safety reasons. I rented a Hyundai Santa Fe from this company later last week for a trip from San Francisco to Palm Springs. First off, $2,300 for eight days is off the charts. Second, the agent was nice enough, but he provided ZERO instructions on how the car operated. It took me five minutes just to figure out how to release the parking brake. All of the above is nothing new, I'm sure. Here's the thing: The "smart" cruise control was an absolute nightmare. It kept failing to engage because of "radar blocked" or something. When the cruise control did engage, it sensed a head on collision every minute or so and slammed on the brakes. There were NEVER any cars around, which was a blessing because I would have been rear ended. Being me, I assumed it was user error. I tried everything to get it to work. Later I found a group online about this problem... This well known problem. You cannot disengage the "smartness". FYI: SF to PS and back again is 14 hours. Cruise control is not a luxury on long trips. It's necessary. I have bought really good cars from Enterprise. I consider them a good company. I hope this experience is a one off. For now, I am warning you to avoid the Santa Fe and demand a tutorial before accepting any car from them.

This Enterprise had the BEST customer service I have ever encountered anywhere. Not just at enterprise, not just in rental cars, but anywhere. Everyone who worked there was kind, helpful, and actually seemed to enjoy their jobs.

We returned our rental car at Alice St. and Mr Luke Nguyen assisted us with the process. His warm demeanour and efficiency was very assuring after we had to deal with a unexpected last minute change of our vehicle. Thanks Luke!

It was a little tricky to find this place, Google takes you to the drop off spot instead of the pick up spot a block away. If you don't know this can cause confusion. But it's not bad over you know. Also, they close at 5pm, unlike what some of the comments and questions/answers say. But they were really helpful when we arrived to drop off. Luke Nguyen was great in getting us what we needed and was great at customer service.

The lady was very rude, and was not helpful at all. I had just spoken to someone from Enterprise confirming my 8:30am reservation. Once I got there, she said they had no cars and to come back in the afternoon. Not mindful of the customer at all, and just sending me away. I didn't catch her name, but she had fake eyelashes. I won't be returning to this location (I've had two bad experiences here), an this is deterring me from using Enterprise for any rental.

I tried to check in at 8 am instead of 12. The lady behind the desk was extremely rude and said you’re here to early, then proceeded to not try to help at all and said you better just come back. This would not be that big of an issue however a couple right behind us came in and reserved a car for 11:30am. They were immediately granted a car (8am) we asked the couple and they had the same class of car. When we asked why they were given a car and not us and the answer was “because we felt like it”.

Superb, really efficient and easy pick-up and dropping off was hassle free thanks to Ranco Granqar - top guy! Will definitely rent with them again when next in SF

We've used the Roseville location many times and WILL again in the near future. We've always experienced excellent service. Yes, no business is perfect, and there have been a few hiccups but they have always been quickly corrected. So we are very happy with this Enterprise and recommend.

They don't make it easy for you to rent a car, that's for sure. The location is outdated as I had to walk to a different location a block away to pick up a car. Then I had to walk another block to a garage to pick up the car, which was out of fuel so I had to switch to another car... everyone was very friendly and helpful, but it shouldn't take 45mins to get a car rental.

Unfortunately the management and staff here fail at Enterprise's exceptional customer service they have been known for.

The lady behind the desk on the 3rd floor of the Enterprise O'Farrell location was rude and unwelcoming. She acted like she didn't want to be bothered. We had a loud argument (for God's sake, this is a rental car place, what could we argue about to the point where voices were raised, right?!) and of course she refused to help us by that time. We ended up going to a different Enterprise location on Mission Street and, let me tell you, by comparison with our experience at O'Farrell location, it was like night and day with the people who work there. They made us feel like how customers should feel - we felt those people are there to help us. Never again on O'Farrell location!

Needed a last minute rental, not only was Adora able to get us a brand new vehicle but also a great deal! Highly recommended.

No customer service whatsoever at this location! The lady behind the desk is very rude and disrespectful. I'm the only insured, my husband do not drive anymore due to heart failure. A week and a half ago, we rented a car at this location. Our car is in the body shop. Our body shop guy took us there. I gave my DL and my husband debit card and they took it. We had the rental for 4 days and we returned it back although our car is still at the shop. We didn't anticipate it's taking this long and we still don't a car. We went back here after our body shop arranged for another rental. The lady was so rude, acted like she didn't want to be there. No "hi" 'good morning" just the basic greeting the customer. She said she needed a card with my name on it, company policy, my husband's card can't be used. That would be fine if the way she explained it is not argumentative . We said that it was OK last week and now it isn't. All she had to do is show a little humility and apologize for their mistake in accepting it last week but not this time. Instead she made it sound like it never happened and we're making it up. That's when it got heated and voices were raised. At this time she refused to help us and got into an agreement match that continue on until we entered the elevator. We went to a different location and the attitude of the people who work at the Mission Street location is night and day. I knew I wasn't imagining it - the people at the Mission Street location are courteous and welcoming. Never again at the O'Farrell location!

Enterprize saved my trip to Napa with friends. After being told there was no car for our reservation at a different company with 5 people all arriving from different parts of the country, I walked into Enterprize hoping they could help. Brian Fong greeted me immediately and got on his phone to say he could have an 8 passenger vehicle for me in 20 minutes. And he delivered. The car was perfect, the process was quick all things considered and I will forever book Enterprize first.

After having a terrible experience trying to rent a car with their competitor at the other street, we moved to enterprise. What a delightful surprise! Amazing customer service, got our car ready for us even though we reserved it like 2 minutes before getting into the store. Had a great experience!
