Ray has had this shop for over 30 years in the Mission. This is *the* place to go in SF for fair and quality work on large trucks and vans.

Went here for a vehicle inspection. The mechanic was very honest with his inspection. In addition, the owner, Ray, was very nice. The business had fair prices. Ray even have me free oil for the engine. On top of that, they helped me back up the isuzu npr hd.

I am so happy with their level of experience and service. I've been having trouble with my ABS system on my truck and spent a lot of time troubleshooting. Took it to Ray and within 2-3 hours I got a phone call that they found the problem. New part was already on the way and got there in an hour. My truck was fixed and ready to drive home by the end of my workday. Drive home was perfect! Will definitely be back here again if I need to have my truck serviced. Honest and hard working guys.

We brought our Fiat to Erie Auto Repair, because there was a slight loss of power we noticed while driving. Erie promised to run some diagnostics, then called and said that a part of the gasoline-injection system needed to be replaced, calculating a price of approx. $300. Two weeks later, after we hadn't heard from Erie, we called and where told that they had replaced the respective part, but that now the car didn't move anymore at all--despite the fact that it worked well when we picked it up. We were offered to either come by and tow our now-no-longer-functional Fiat, or hand over an additional $600 to have the real culprit, a drive belt (which actually looked tight and fine) replaced. Again, since the car was now no longer functional, we didn't have much of a choice. In the end, the car worked again, although I strongly suspect that Erie disabled it to make us pay more. I would not recommend this place. There were other times when the owner tried to offer additional services at hyper-inflated prices.

Owner was very reluctant to help with vintage RV repairs at first but ended up doing a great job! Whether he likes it or not he's going to be doing all of my truck and RV repairs henceforth.
