Joe is the best and F And G should be a historic landmark in the Mission. Store is packed with pretty much everything you need from a last minute or late night food item to a day trip to Dolores park. Prices are reasonable and fair considering it’s a corner grocery store.

It was the plants that drew me and my partner in, but it was Joe, the owner, who kept us engaged. Loved talking plants in this mart and Joe is so sweet and kind--F&G is named after the original mart owners Frank and Georgia (sp) and when Joe opened his business, he kept the name in their honor ?

F&G Market is a neighborhood icon.Conveniently located one block from Dolores Park and Valencia Street small shops.Stop by for chilled drinks, snacks, household staples, or maybe even a small dog treat and chat with the friendly owner. More than a convenient corner store, Joe serves as the "eyes & ears" of this small, tight community in the most positive of ways.Come in for salami, ice cream, chips, or beer...and leave having met a new friend!
