I live in Texas, but a couple of months ago I stopped by this location while visiting San Francisco to have a letter laminated. The gentleman Marcos helped me, and he was so genuinely kind that I still remember it. Thank you, Marcos, for making my California trip even more special!

They don’t take returns like a normal fedex store. They said because they’re inside a hotel and not their own store.

It's convenient if you are staying in the hotel, but if you don't want to pay the handling fee, go to 726 Market Street.

Nice employees! Unfortunately, 3* for opportunistic price gouging. Because they’re in a hotel they charge a handling fee in addition to everything else, with a floor of $4. Not nice for nearby residents!

Anywho, Marcos at FedEx was friendly and sociable :) Helped me print everything I needed as fast as possible. I'll be going back since they also laminate and are close to my house
So go down and give them a visit. The store looked so lonely and quiet when I went :(

Went to this location to ship a package with a prepaid label. When I got to the counter, the nice individual behind the counter informed me that it would cost extra to send/ship from this location as it's located in the hotel, and they charged an extra fee which is calculated based on weight of package. Turns out, to send my less than 2 lbs box, it would cost $10—no thank you! I ended up walking to 3rd and Market to ship for free.

I am new to this location. Previously, I was hesitant to utilize this location because I was concerned that services, hours of operation, and customer service would be lacking due to this location being inside of a hotel lobby. However, I quickly dismissed these concerns upon my first visit. To date, I have made three visits. Each time I would enter the office I was quickly greeted by Marcos. What I am impressed with is his quality in communication and cordial authenticity. He did not hover or overact, but consistently ensured I knew he was aware of my presence and that he will make himself available should any customer that entered need assistance. His simple and clear explanations helped me learn the self-service equipment quickly and effectively. This speaks volumes about the manner in which he provides superior service — I have a neurological disorder that will cause difficulty in my comprehension due cognitive delay in processing information. Of course, Marcos is not aware of this (I keep it to myself).
As far as other reviews sharing there is increased pricing due to the location being in a hotel lobby, I have only used self-service options which have the same fees I've experienced elsewhere. But should I use the packing service, I would find the pricing worth it if I'm in a pinch, since all hotels (that do not extend these services as complimentary) have increased pricing. I usually opt for my local USPS for more affordable shipping.

Can’t imagine why they don’t have great ratings - Marco & Alex were unbelievably helpful! They turned around a large poster order same-day! Helped me load & personally called me when they discovered I forgot an item in the store
