First Korean Market is a small, friendly Asian grocery store located in the Richmond district of San Francisco, just a few blocks from 19th Avenue. It is a popular spot for locals to restock their favorite Korean foods and ingredients. The store offers a variety of fresh, packaged, and frozen items, including freshly made banchan, kimchi, and a good selection of frozen meats like thinly sliced pork belly and beef, perfect for BBQ. Customers also enjoy their house-made kim bap, fried chicken, and cooked hot foods that are great for lunch or dinner. The market is well-loved for its affordable prices and the helpful staff who are willing to assist with finding specific items, such as chewy noodles. While it is smaller than large Korean chain markets like H-Mart, it provides a more approachable and authentic shopping experience for those wanting authentic Korean ingredients and snacks. The store also stocks Korean snacks, rice cake cookies, wafers, popsicles, and pancake mixes. Many customers appreciate how easy it is to grab what they need quickly and enjoy supporting a small business. Overall, First Korean Market is a reliable and convenient place for quick shopping, with a focus on quality, authenticity, and friendly service.
It would be nice if the Korean owner guy who smile sometime. I think it's a cultural thing but we like I'm more bubbly person

Rude service but their fresh homemade kimchi is a 20 out of 10. Favorite place to get kimchi and they have a lot of other good asian snacks too.

Awesome premade food near the cash register — I love the beef kimbap and kimchi fried rice. They also have shrimp tempura, veg pancakes, and fried chicken.
