I was trying to make a check deposit to my account. The personal banker deposited the check into another person's account instead of mine!!! He DIDN'T even apologize for this wrong and unprofessional behavior!!! This is the WORST mistake that a personal banker can make!!! Is he professional??? I doubt how he became a personal banker!!!

This review is for corporate banking only. Absolutely the worst bank to deal with. The online portal is horrible, the technology is primitive, and their security is mind-bogglingly bad. Sending a wire or changing a signatory on an account is a bewildering maze of forms and bureaucratic functionaries to deal with. I would *never* use them again. Looking into Brex cash management. Absolutely horrific.

I am allowed two reviews so here is an update after 6 1/2 years of banking with First Republic. I have never had a bad experience since I changed to First Republic.. It doesn't matter what branch I go into, I repeat, "I have NEVER had a bad experience" in any branch, but I favor China town branch because of Jennifer Wong. The treats,gifts,and no atm charges are just bonuses on top of the impeccable service. If you haven't switched to First Republic Bank you are missing out. It has changed my life and I am always happy to go to the bank. It used to feel like a chore.Now it is a pleasure.

I want to thank Zoff for providing exceptional customer service. The first time I came here I notice he was addressing customers by their name...I figured they're probably big clients. Nope! He delivers same great level of customer service to everyone!

Really pleased with First Republic Bank. This is THE bank. The service here is incredible -- it's as good as it gets. I've been through so many different banks -Â BoA, Chase, and a couple credit unions. My experience so far has been top of the line -- everything from the in-branch onboarding to the FRB app runs circles around the competition. Have you seen the inside of these banks? Seriously. They're nice. The banker are always there to help or answer questions. I can actually CALL the bank and talk to a real person and get help. I can even email my banker with questions. No overseas support phone numbers here. Very personal experience. But don't take my word for it. Check for yourself!

The branch manager got back to me and she had already talked to Jeff. I will do another in person follow up by Monday. If Jeff attitude continues to be like that, I will continue to escalate this matter to a higher level.
