I’ve used Forward for a few months. My issues aren’t really with this particular location (although I did go here) but it is hard to find reviews for it so I figured I’d post. My three main issues:- Value: I really don’t see what you’re getting for the monthly fee. Appointment availability is not any better (actually, quite a bit worse) than similar membership-based clinics that charge far less.- Quality of Care: Terrible, just like most doctors. During my first appointment they told me to get a vaccine booster. When I told them I had a severe adverse reaction to the booster, they told me to still get it without further inquiring at all about the reaction I had.- Inconvenience: My whole reason for trying this was to save time, but they really wasted my time. They asked me for my genetic data and then never once followed up to confirm it was received or provide any analysis. For one of my appointments, it was clear in my notes what treatment I was seeking but they clearly didn’t read them until the appointment. They pretend that they’re doing the whole precision medicine thing, but they really don’t put forth the effort. You’re basically paying $149 a month for a decent app. The tech is cool but not much more impressive than any hospital systems patient portal. Do not recommend.

A good concept, terrible execution. No capacity, takes forever to schedule anything let alone get an answer via the app.. you will end up paying for insurance, for forward and for all tests because they won’t cover anything nor your insurance. Save yourself the time and money.

Finally got set up with a new Dr and got to cancel my Forward membership today!! What a HUGE disappointment Forward has been. They had such an opportunity to capture the market but forgot their number one job - customer service! Case in point - there is no Customer Aervice number to call and speak to anyone. I tried several times to speak to someone. Only option was to send a text to a random person on the other end. No one in charge for the SF office was ever able to speak to me. Make your patients happy and they won’t leave you!Additionally, the revolving door of doctors made it so I never got anyone who understood my and my needs. At present there is only one Dr serving the entire SF location! And he’s a complete jerk. When I asked him to help and support me he told me he’s overworked and the only person available and eventually refused to help me and said I was expecting too much!!. He only had excuses - never paused to just listen and understand and provide care to a paying customer in need. The service when I first started was so much better. But over the past 5 years has it has slowly declined to where it stands now - abominable rate!I’d receive test results and no one would explain to me what they meant so I’d be left to search the internet to find help. Every time I needed a blood draw I had to go through three to four young and inexperienced staff to eventually draw the blood. Also, there’s nothing about Forward that supports proactively managing your health. It’s all reactive and focused on avoiding helping patients wellness.DO NOY WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SERVICE!!

Great concept, horrible execution. There’s no way to talk to a real human being on the phone, it’s all done through chat, and often the people I were chatting with didn’t understand the issue I was trying to explain to them. Wait times to see a doctor are horrendous, usually longer than 2 weeks. The app that they offer is mediocre and is much worse than record keeping systems used by other medical providers. I’m not sure how they justify charging $150 a month. I received no additional value compared to what I’d receive from any other doctor that doesn’t charge this fee. I had high hopes but was ultimately very let down by my experience.

The worst service, app does not work, similar to spams, they do not give back your money when they do not provide service or completion was 0. Its ad and realty are totally different, not as advertised.

This is not a Doctor service! Don't waste your money! Although the staff were sweet when I went in, they didn't know what they were doing. I wonder if the machines are even real because that machine scale was off. Also, they couldn't even draw my blood; which has never been a problem. I really was hoping for this to be legit but it's not and it really seems like a scam. Very unfortunate!

This is a wonderful concept. Improving healthcare by marking the importance of long term care is a very important goal. I am baffled however, with the overall concept that we need to educate, follow up and enhance care for patients, yet there is no room on board with this company for nurses. This is concept that does not seem to fit into the long term goal of improving healthcare. Who better to serve as a liason between patient and physician and patient and services then the actual people that have taken an oath to advocate for patients. Registered nurses are overlooked in many aspects of healthcare, yet they are the very people that deliver compassion, generosity, and respect to all patients and their family regardless of the failure of the system. We are the heart and soul of the induatry, the very ones that bring humanity to a system that has become a conveyor belt. Providing the best healthcare, means hiring the right people to provide the appropriate support, compassion and education to all people accessing healthcare. Don't let the all mighty dollar and desire to acquire as much as possible, dilute the concept of quality care.

Slow followup on things like bloodwork and other tests. Billing issues. Inconsistencies on providers & quality of care/advice. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

If all you need is someone to fill your prescriptions, then you'll be fine. If you want actual medical treatment, you will not be fine. You will never see the same doctor twice, which I believe is by design, so forget about establishing a relationship with a doctor who gets to know you. In-office appointments are rarely available. They do testing, but no follow-up on the testing, so the testing is pointless. Whenever I ask for real help, they tell me to see a specialist. Two different so-called 'doctors' tried to shame me for refusing a medicine to which I am allergic. I have a heart condition, and the medication gives me heart palpitations. I am unemployed right now, and cannot see a specialist. They essentially told me that I had to see a specialist because they won't treat me. If I were to define this practice in one word, it would be "NEGLIGENT".

Very happy with the quality of care and experience at Forward. I have been a member for about 6 months now, it's convenient, professional, pleasant, forward thinking. I am very satisfied with my experience at Forward. I did not show up without health issues, I had just recently suffered my 4th head injury, my neurochemistry was a mess, my ADHD symptoms were through the roof, I had never treated it before, and it was debilitating. Rapid firing of discontinued thoughts to where I couldn't initiate an action. It was horrible! With increased head injuries, as with ADHD, one runs a higher risk of developing Parkinson's and Alzheimer's down the line. I wanted a forward-thinking, preventative solution. Forward was it. Got my medical genetic assessment, they helped refer me to a psychiatrist. i was calling around, nobody was taking patients, I was desperate, Forward helped me get the care that I needed. They handled my vaccinations, got me on a program for heart health, since I have a genetic predisposition. Yes Forward delivering on the intention and promise! Preventative medicine makes sense! I'm grateful that someone is prioritizing it Stateside, instead of only cashing in on the sickness. I like Forward!

Becoming a member of Forward was the single WORST HEALTH DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE FOR MYSELF. THIS COMPANY HAS ONLY CAUSED ME ANXIETY & STRESS! Save yourself, save your family, save your health; do NOT trust this "Forward" company. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will rob your bank account with your bank information you NEVER gave them permission to do. This isn't like a real company; don't be fooled. They just want your bank info so they can bill you for stuff you never agreed to. This is a scam. They are currently robbing my bank account. The Better Business Bureau has cases and cases and cases about this "Forward" company. This kind of billing problem is NORMAL for this company. They have multiple complaints about it. They regularly STEAL MONEY FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS. I have been trying to call since 9am and have sent over 40 emails on this matter. All I got back from support "Lynda" was a flippant email message hours later warning me against making problems with them. It felt aggressive and uncalled for. All I want is a fucking refund for something I NEVER purchased. And I'm the one who needs to change my attitude??? What? How does a company NOT have a live person to speak with? A scam company, that's who. Try it. There is ZERO ways to contact them besides just leaving them a voice message. I'm serious. They disallow you from speaking with them. Do not trust your personal information let alone your family's HEALTH to this failure of a company. Learn from my mistake. If you see "Forward," hide you wallet and children and run in the opposite direction. You'll probably live longer avoiding them.

The service is good, but it takes almost a month to get an appointment. Defeats the purpose in a lot of situations.

Tone deflimited communication channels - no one available on phoneVirtual experience - not in personThey define your health priorities and disregard the health priorities that are important to you.a they do not solicit your medical records - they rely on the patient to share that information. Not data backed guidance. The app is not intuitive - very poor user experienceDo not provide access to app or medical support until after appointment which is booked 7 to 14 days after sign up.Highly recommend onemedical vs forward

Forward keeps you accountable for your health. I needed services from a 3rd party provider and Forward kept looking until they found me a provider that would see me. I was helped within 24 hours, not months because of Forward.
