Total disregard for children’s safety! My son had a severe nut allergy reaction eating one of their pastries! They told us it had no nuts! The description they posted next to the pastry also said no nuts! My son’s throat closed up. We had to give him his epi pen! When we confronted the servers, they lied and insisted the pastry had no nuts but was accidentally placed next to one with nuts. Complete disregard for customer safety!!

Food and coffee are great and everyone is friendly, but feels like prices have been going up quite a bit lately.

The place is quiet and nice. Has seating inside and outside. The owner Lily and her mother Annie are so sweet! The coffee is amazing and their pastries are fresh. The vegan loafs are so good. We got the banana nut loaf which was super moist.Very family oriented, kid and pet friendly The chocolate chip cookie my son got was also very soft and delicious.Thank you for your hospitality and service.Nice to meet you both ❤️

My favorite Cafe on Polk St Russian Hill! Food is so fresh, healthy, and made well! Service is friendly neighborhood care and the staff and owners are super hard working and on point! I love everything I eat here.I prefer to sit outside to get sun but inside is lovely to eat and read and meet friends. The only drawback are when people "WFH" are noisy on their calls but we make do with our own earbuds.I should've taken pics before eating but chagaccino and avocado toast w veggies & poached egg looked too good to wait!

Happened to walk by this place on my way to the bookstore and saw they had coffee and food. There isn't too much seating overall, but there's 2 tables set up outside with benches, perfect for people watching. The iced coffees are good and they have some good bakery items. I ordered the banh mi bowl and it was good but it was definitely missing some kind of sauce. On the menu it says it comes with some type of aioli, but there was nothing on my bowl. If I was ever in the area I would maybe try it again, but overall I wasn't too impressed.

Very friendly staff and absolutely excellent coffee. Ordered a hot chagachino with almond milk and it hit the spot. The inside was small but they still had seating if you wanted to stay and sip your coffee with complimentary water. Very nice owners.

Neighborhood cafe, with breakfast-lunch options and customizable banh mi.Tasty egg sandwich served on English muffin, with choice of meat and cheese. Coffee from a local SF producer (Contraband) is almost chocolaty — excellent.Interior, however, doesn’t particularly standout. Go for food and drink and work tables.

I'm giving a 3 only because today is a heat wave and the staff just seems hot and crabby. I ordered an iced Matcha latte and he gave me a hot one. Then begrudgingly made me an iced one, but then made it coffee instead of Matcha. I told the manager I would just go ahead and take it at this point because the barista was already irritable and responded that's what I ordered which it is not. I'm only giving this much of a pass because again it's a very hot day, and they seemed extremely crabby because of it. Otherwise I would not spend $5.25 on a drink on DID NOT order and do not like
