Hands down, Gamescape is one of the best board game stores I’ve found! During my travels, I always make it a point to visit board game stores as part of my itinerary and I never fail to grab a game or two. In Gamescape, I left with FOUR (only because of my luggage limitations)The store has a very large collection - they sell well known classics to recent additions. And to top it off, their staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful too. A strong recommendation to anyone within the vicinity who is interested in this hobby!

This is a great little shop I discovered on Divisadero when I was searching for the 5 Minute Dungeon card game. Then it became my go-to when I needed something new to bring to game nights. And now, it's my go to spot for Trading Cards! Parking is not the easiest around this place, but if you manage to find one, Gamescape is absolutely worth the time, products, and the people. Everyone overall is extremely kind, but I wanted to give a call out to David. Every time he is around, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome, and he's always so very informative. He'll always go out of my way to help me find board games he's found interest in, and he keeps me updated with the latest Pokemon Trading cards. I absolutely love paying a visit to Gamescape, and it adds to the experience of finding your next game or expanding your hobby.

Gamescape is a top spot in San Francisco for gamers. David, the staff, is super helpful and knows a lot about games. Whether you're new to gaming or a pro, he makes your visit even better. If you love Pokémon, Gamescape has you covered. They've got a huge selection of cards at great prices. You can find rare ones or starter packs, they've got it all!

The people here are so quick to ask if you need help finding things, always have great suggestions for games (if there's a game you love, they can help you find a game that's very similar most of the time!). There's social events that happen here, and the store is really clean and organized. I love coming here and supporting this business, versus going online and buying. Thanks for always having such wonderful staff!

Cozy environment, endless games, entire section for miniatures, friendly staff. Definitely the first game store I’m going to if I need something of that caliber.

This is a board gamer's dream first sure. Just came in to browse and all my fave games were up and center. The only reason I didn't buy anything is because I bought everything online already. Comparatively speaking (without shipping), things were a lot pricier at Gamescape than online (for instance they sell Red Rising for $40 and it's on Amazon currently for $15). But honestly I went for the vibes and would return for the vibes. I've never played board games with strangers but will try to go on one of their Wednesday night board game nights

It's a board game paradise in there. There are sooo many games. Shoutout to Thomas with the dyed hair for helping me and my friend find good games for gifts and being very welcoming.
