1. The data will be wiped off, for a screen repair
2. They charge $100 for service fee, even though the repair is fully covered by Apple care. This is a hidden clause hide in the bottom of 1st page, even though the 2nd page show $0 balance

I still have no faith in Best Buy’s call center; however, JONATHAN from the Geek Squad renewed my faith in the Geek Squad. He was professional, very pleasant and had EMPATHY for my frustrations!! Plus, based on what I shared and what he could see, he was able to fix my television!
The Call Center (once again) got my issues wrong!! Last week, they sent out installers; didn’t need anything installed. This time, they told Jonathan that I had no power (wrong) and probably needed a part to repair the problem (wrong)!!
Smh…the call center agents are polite but they don’t LISTEN!!
Thanks to Jonathan, I have a pretty television that works!!🙏🏽

I thought they were professionals. But they tried to upsell everything for my TV installation appointment. Wall mounts, soundbar mounts I purchased, they didn’t want to use them.

I've been waiting over 10 days for a refund on an order that was stolen during delivery. The package arrived one day late and completely empty. I have evidence, including photos, and I called Best Buy on the same day (July 3) to report the issue. I have a long history of purchases with Best Buy, so I expected better treatment. The first representative told me a replacement would be sent. Instead, I received a cancellation email. Five days later, I called again and was told that they couldn't send a replacement because the product was no longer on promotion, and they would proceed with a refund. If I hadn't followed up, the issue would have been forgotten. On my third call, the agent said the case was finally being submitted for approval -- 11 days after the incident. Now, 12 days later, they're asking for pictures of something that happened almost two weeks ago. The empty box was already discarded -- luckily, I had taken some photos. This experience has been extremely frustrating. Customer service has shown no urgency, no accountability, and no respect. I feel completely let down. I'm now stuck with a debt and no product

Literally the worst customer service. Cant find anyone to help. Once I did, she was rude and clearly hated her job. This is why Amazon is winning. I'll take my business there instead.

I went to Best Buy store at 1717 Harrison St - San Francisco - 94103 - CA so I could buy a SD card for my personal usage. I was coming back from my overnight shift and had to get the product so I could get some rest. I've seen 2 persons opening the door and getting into the store so I just followed them. The sign outside said 11am - 7pm which but I failed to see it and just followed the 2 persons. On my turn a tall, white, blond hair, glasses on named Dimitri, closed the door at me and I asked him if the store was open and he promptly and sarcastically responded: Nooooo, it's not and pointed at the sign then giggled. There are multiple ways to give people the same information, sarcasm and mocking is not ok let alone it's very disrespectful. Treating people with respect is the least everyone must do. I'm pretty sure he looked at me and thought I'd steal the store, coz I'm black and hat on. I've lost the counts how many products I bought from Best Buy. I don't recommend go to the store specially if Dimitri is at the main entrance, he giggles and mocks people. Respect, politeness fits everywhere! Trash associate!

This review is for Ani, the young woman who helped me purchase a new laptop on Friday, May 9. I hope that a manager or supervisor from the Harrison Street store in San Francisco actually reads this as I think Ani, who I understood to be a fairly new employee, deserves high praise. She provided excellent help in walking me through different features about various laptops I was considering and patiently answered my long list of prepared questions. She was very kind as well since I have mild cognitive impairment from a coma a few years ago and needed her to repeat things so I could thoroughly and confidently understand what she was telling me. Ani was easy-going and friendly (we even joked about the spelling of her name which matches the lead character of "Anora") and made the job of buying a new laptop very easy. I so want her manager/supervisor to know how pleased I was with her service and how highly I recommend her to others. Unfortunately, Best Buy never sent me an email or phone link to their online customer survey. The Best Buy app was not helpful and the online virtual assistant was worse, having me chase my tail as they kept sending me to review the product but not the service despite me repeatedly emphasizing exactly what I was trying to do. So this is why I'm writing here on Yelp and hoping that a manager/supervisor will see this review. While I am deeply frustrated by the app and online virtual assistant service, I have to say my last three interactions with the in-store personnel at Best Buy in the last month have been very positive and pleasant. Everyone I've dealt with is obviously making a real effort to counter the bad reviews and providing a good job of doing so.

Paul was such a great guy, he really went above and beyond to help, my laptop touch pad didn’t work, and I am computer science student myself so I know when someone was actually trying to fix it, he tried all types of ways before he decided to send it to fix it out of state, he even told me about 3 months extension for warranty if I take survey and was so patient to wait for me while doing it. He definitely deserves to be a manager there because he got the knowledge and customer service.

This is the WORST service treatment I have ever received in a store. I had recently purchased a television with installation for about 1000.00. At that time I was told if I opened a charge I could either have a year credit free orca coupon toward my next purchase i took the coupon since I didn't want credit card debt. During the following week my computer broke i went to purchase a new computer. i had paid for my TV And was going to charge the computer and apply the promised certificate to my purchase. But i was informed by the already rude salesperson who I had to have paged to help me that certificates take 3 weeks to go into effect and when I complained about this being the first time I heard the rule she told me I should have read the contract instead of relying on the salespersons word. By this time i was angry and frustrated and was being treated rudly and I said I felt fu***ed. now she called over an assistant because the word SO offended her. He was very rude and refused to help me unless I apologized to her. This employee was so rude and out of line that he not only lost my business. (There many other places to buy Apple labtops andci went to one. I also have no desire to shop at Best Buy again.

This store has the worst customer service! I dropped by the store to inquire about trading in an old iPad and purchase a new one. The associate informed me that he would check and left me waiting for half hour. I walked and will purchase elsewhere.

It is impossible to get through to a live person in the store. The central team member that takes the calls are idiots. I've been trying to get delivery instructions to them for over an hour

This review is specifically for Jace, a manager at the San Francisco BB location. I specifically opened this account for this purpose, because it was the only way I knew how to show my appreciation for his excellent work. I have been purchasing appliances for properties in SF for more than 20 years and 95% of those purchases have been from BB. I am a co-owner of PM company for the last 9 years, so on average purchase more than 10 appliances a year, fridges, laundry, micros, stoves... My store was the one located at Masonic / Geary, now long closed. I had a dedicated rep up at the Colma location up until 2 years ago, who solved any and all problems w/scheduling, deliveries etc.. I was having a very hard time getting an oversized fridge removed and a new one installed at a property recently. I wasted a lot of time on the phone to impersonal call center, repeatedly setting up removal / install, each time being guaranteed by the person on the phone...'YES, I am sure this will happen this time!' After the original delivery of the new fridge, which was left in the garage, I went through this process 4 times, as did the tenants who had to prep each time. I finally drove down to the brick and mortar, w/my plan to have the fridge returned and end my relationship w/BB! I asked to speak with a manager and luckily it was Jace who then assisted me. I let him know my plans re, time for me to work with a new vendor. I provided the order # and he then did some investigating. He was very professional and valued all of my wasted time. In short order he handled this issue, the fridge is now installed and my faith in BB has been restored such that I will continue doing business with them. I had zero expectation of this being resolved to my utmost satisfaction. Thank you, Jace, I predict you will go far w/BB or any other organization.

I recommend the Geek Squad at the Harrison Street Best Buy - they were very helpful. I am a compute user but not technically sufficient when I run into software / hardware issues. The Geek Squad is my go to - they are knowledgible, patient with my lack of expertise and explain issues / solutions well! Carlos was the Geek Squad rep i dealt with and he was great. I recommend the Harrison Street Best Buy Geek Squad!
