Love the Rotunda and also love the fresh market which I tried for the first time. The quiche is amazing.My issue is the assortment of retail merchandise.Women's area: Valentino nothing to see; Armani meh, D&G awful, Tom Ford just pieces, Chanel do not like the pink and black look, the only designer has a great collection is Brunello. Those beautiful merchandise online are no where to be found in store. Men's area: shoes great, Tom Ford great, Armani great, mens area seems to have pretty good assortment. However, when I tried to buy NM holiday men's beauty assortment bags, none were stocked in the store and told I have to buy online.This is a NM item, shown on Christmas catalog and should be in stock in every store.

I am livid. My boyfriend and I originally went to Neiman Marcus over the weekend in Santa Clara and purchased a Acqua Di Parma fragrance. He realized he didn't like the fragrance as we were given a sample. He decided to return it in San Francisco because we work here; mind you the frangrance is UNOPENED! With the reciept, in the original bag. He goes to SF Neiman Marcus around 11 am and approached a older woman. She looks at him, and asks for the reciept which he provides. She asked if it was opened which he showed her it wasn't. She then proceeds to say " well it has to go on the original card". Which he says " okay". She then says well it looks ALTERED and proceeds to open it. Altered?! Anyway it's upsetting because honestly I hate to pull the race card but wtf , she's a old white lady and his a young black male. That's complete BS. I loved Neiman Marcus and I'm pissed because she treated him like he stole this! He is a huge fan of fragrances so he typically purchases it from the Union Square area but has NEVER been treated this way. Im so disgusted. She should be ashamed of herself , no one deserves to be treated that way! He did not get her name, but whoever was working on 10/31/23 around 11am in the fragrance area you need to work on yourself ! And the manager who had their side conversation should also be ashamed!

My husband and I had a great time here. He was interested in getting some expensive cologne that we both liked. So far it's been hit or miss and we both seem to have different opinions of what smells good. The lady attending to us was really patient and we ended up leaving to think on it and coming back to try more stuff later. We actually found a scent for me as well, I think the Tom Ford Bitter Peach. It smells nice to both hubby and I and is supposed to last for hours, which is nice.

Terrible Customer Service Experience at Neiman Marcus (Boucheron)I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Neiman Marcus's customer service, and I must say it was a truly appalling experience. My fiancé and I decided to purchase our wedding bands from Boucheron inside Neiman Marcus, hoping for a premium shopping experience. However, the way they handled our order mistake left us utterly disappointed and frustrated.Firstly, the mistake itself was inexcusable. Neiman Marcus ordered the wrong wedding band for us, which is already a significant error considering the importance of this purchase. But what truly baffled us was the complete lack of responsibility and accountability demonstrated by their customer service team.Upon receiving the incorrect wedding band, we contacted Neiman Marcus to report the mistake. Instead of receiving a sincere apology for their error, we were met with indifference and excuses. It's astonishing how they could fail to take ownership of their mistake and instead tried to shift the blame onto external factors.What's even more infuriating is that Neiman Marcus made no effort to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment they caused. We were left to deal with the mess they created on our own, which is unacceptable for a company that prides itself on luxury and quality service.In addition to the incompetence and lack of accountability, the overall attitude of their customer service representatives was dismissive and unhelpful. It's as if they couldn't care less about retaining loyal customers or ensuring a positive shopping experience.In conclusion, my experience with Neiman Marcus's customer service was nothing short of a nightmare, especially when dealing this on top of wedding planning. Ordering the wrong wedding band was bad enough, but the complete absence of an apology or any form of compensation is inexcusable. Neiman Marcus has lost a once-loyal customer, and I will be sure to share my dreadful experience with others to save them from the same disappointment. This level of disregard for customers is unforgivable, and I strongly advise against doing business with Neiman Marcus if you value quality service and accountability.

The cosmetics team here is amazing! Knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Deann, Sandy, Raymond, Ahlan, Mitzi, and Suze are always ready to assist me when I need it either in person or over the phone/via text. These powerhouses help to make sure that I look and feel my best at all times. Even the manager Lily is helpful. Which is rare because most managers just pass you off to salespeople at other stores.Whenever I need help in jewelry I make sure to schedule an appointment with Lea. She is an expert and always makes sure that my items are carefully handled.With everything closing in the square recently it's nice to know that I can rely on the Neiman Marcus team.

High end with lots of security for their own and your protection with real cops because of many frequent smash 'n grabs. Beautifully laid out departments with the finest wares. Casually dressed is fine as many European tourists are visiting. Colors grab you here; Orange walls, puffy purple jackets, and extreme colored tennis shoes are showcased in their own cubbies. So fun just to browse or shop to your hearts content if that's your thing!

Wow was I impressed! Yes, their suits are not the cheapest. I was very hesitant to buy one here. However, considering the cost of my time and alterations gone bad many times at Nordstrom's. I actually think this place is a good value. Alterations were totally perfect on the first time. The tailor didn't destroy my suit as they did at Nordstrom's. The suit fabric is also much nicer and will probably last me a decade or two. If you're looking at upfront cost, this is not the place for you, but if you're looking for all in cost of ownership, then this place is a remarkable value. Also, the very candid help from the lady selling men's suits was super helpful. Her tastes were just exquisite and made me look so much better.

Customer service has been great lately. Employees aren't profiling as much which is nice. Inventory is great as well. Very good homewares section up top.Store needs more security since San Francisco is a mess.

Went here to check on the Hearts of San Francisco 2023 as they were being displayed at Neiman Marcus. I never been to a Neiman Marcus & it blows my mind how luxurious this store is inside. The store has various high end store & a wonderful area to take stunning photos of the SF area. Each high end fashion company has their own designated cubical area, which I found helpful especially if you are into a certain brand. The brand name is displayed on the wall of their designated space. The building has over 7 floors & a list that states what each floor is known for near the escalator & elevator(women clothing, men clothing, jewelry, etc).

Beautiful building store with nice restaurant upstairs, but I just came for the SFGH hearts display this year 2023. Apparently I missed a few since there are no signs telling you where they are. You will need to ask an associate or read articles online to find out where they are. So I am happy with myTwo trips here because they didn't have the window display ready when I was here last week, but the big yummy Sundae was there. And for me that the highlight. :) I always wanted to either drink coffee on the second floor or try tea time here. Maybe one day.

This review is specifically for Todd from the Women's Shoes department who quite literally turned my day around!After a VERY bitter experience at the San Francisco Dior boutique (see their Yelp page for just how crappy they are!) where I intended to purchase a pair of shoes I have been eyeing for quite some time, I decided to take my $ elsewhere and try my luck at Neiman Marcus. Todd was an absolute delight right from the start and made this a "customer-focused experience" rather than a "sale-driven experience". He made sure that I left with EXACTLY what I wanted - the perfect style and the perfect fit. There is absolutely no doubt that I will return to see Todd next time I decide to treat myself!

They responded immediately to my post, and after trading messages with the VP of the San Francisco store. And contacting the maker of the product directly. They immediately provided a full refund of the product in question. In short, it was a happy ending only after much haranguing. It should not have escalated like this at all. I guess buyer be ware and demand the customer service we deserve.

A high end department store where you can find almost every designer brand and new ones too! Clothing, cosmetics, shoes, homeware and gifts! Holiday time is the best time to visit! Have a meal at the Rotunda Restaurant with a most beautiful view of Union Square.There's a beverage bar with free coffee and water on the 3rd floor thorough Holiday time 2022.
