Glenridge Cooperative Nursery School, founded in 1970, is a private preschool located within San Francisco’s only natural canyon in Glen Park. Our school provides child-centered, naturalistic, and developmentally appropriate programs for young children and a vibrant community for families. Glenridge’s play and nature-based curriculum, commitment to diversity, and special location make the school a unique place for children to learn, grow, and flourish. At Glenridge Coop, curriculum structure emerges from the children's interests, needs, and desires so that learning is concrete and meaningful to each child. Children learn through play and when they play in Glen Canyon they learn about themselves and the world around them.
