I recently photographed a wedding at The Golden Gate Club. It’s always a pleasure working here. First off - this venue has views and it is beautiful! I love the massive trees that surround the ceremony site. They make for a beautiful backdrop and had an intimate feel then for the reception you have the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The planner did a phenomenal job at executing the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your wedding at!

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Golden Gate Club in Jan 2024. The table decor exceeded expectations the day of & our coordinator Kennedy Barros was phenomenal! Cannot say enough good things about her. We never felt pressured to do anything in the planning process here, I’d highly recommend this venue.

This review is so hard to write since this was the venue we really wanted to go with!Essentially, after going on a tour and getting a proposal, we figured it may be more cost-effective to just have a big dinner with our family (since my husband and I already eloped)When I inquired about private events, they falsified information and said that they don't do private events from Thursday-Sunday. Which is a lie, since I've attended past events here before.I emailed them to correct this information and provided the online site that has the service of the space for the weekends. At which, they mentioned that "the site is just not updated" It would've been amazing to gather our family here, however, the information discrepancy amplifies the ways this venue values capitalization than actually celebrating the unity of newly weds.A beautiful space but horrible customer services and highlights elitism.

Christmas party was very nice with teammates. A very beautiful setting with stunning views of the S.F. Bay, Alcatraz, ferry boats and all the people from Human Good. AND LIFE IS GOOD. Thank You.

Spent the day here for the Center for Cellular Construction Annual Retreat and was blown away by the space and beautiful views! The main room has three (3) story windows that opened up the space to the waters of the bay. The right and left wings of the building were perfect to hold smaller discussions and poster sessions. There's limited parking in front of the building, but an ajacent parking lot is available if needed.Great space to hold an event that'll surely make it feel more special!

Breathtaking views, exceptionally high quality service, and extraordinarily healthy and delectable food!My experience was far beyond my expectation. During the week of July 18, I attended a teacher training and everyone I came in contact with at the Golden Gate Club made me feel like a highroller! The staff wasn’t just attentive, they were almost telepathic in their anticipation and proactive service.I don’t think I have eaten so well before in my life! The menu was extensive and there were options for everyone (i.e. gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian etc.). Besides the wide variety of the food choices, they were nutritious and delicious!Last but not least, the views and landscaping were simply beautiful. Strawberry trees, yes I said trees, green grass, outdoor seating and the like make this a gem. Additionally, the main meeting hall and on of the smaller rooms have views of the Bay, and the fog dissipates, the world famous Golden Gate Bridge! Truly a must see…my photos don’t do it justice.Book your next work event, wedding, family reunion etc. ASAP!

From the get-go, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here. Our sales rep was amazing, and took her time to give us a complete tour of the venue and sat us down to review the different packages. Leading up to our wedding day, every meeting in between was productive and they listened to every single request that we had. Our day of coordinator was the one who walked us through majority of the wedding process, so it was nice that she was assigned to our wedding the day of. She helped calm our nerves and our friends and family got along with them really well. Nothing went wrong, everything fell right into place. And if something did go wrong, it wasn't even noticeable to us. Our friends and family keep telling us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and had so much fun celebrating with us. I recommend this venue + team to help ease the stress of wedding planning.

We picked this venue for the view and for the all-inclusive package. All of our meetings with the venue were fantastic, we had a different person each time, but they all went well. They listened to what we said, told us whether it was a possibility or not (or if it was something we had to figure out on our own) and the planning process went smoothly and easily. We decided to hire some of our own vendors just due to difference in preference and style. The problems started the day of our reception. Due to a family emergency, we weren't able to make it to the venue early enough to do a walk through. By the time guests were being seated, we noticed so many things that were wrong. Before we get into them, here are some things to note. Our event was during COVID, so some guests were not able to make it day-of. We let our venue know ahead of time and asked them to remove the seats from the designated tables. To prevent additional exposure, we requested plated meals instead of buffet.1. My family table was not seated next to us at the sweetheart table, but rather in the corner in front of the dance floor where the music was blaring. My family was quite upset they were seated so far from the sweetheart table because they couldn't see us.2. All the tables were incorrectly placed. Having gone through detailed designation of which guest will be placed at which table and which guests have food allergies, this was quite a big error. We later heard from guests that they did not receive their requested food. Ex. we had some guests who could not eat meat or fish, but received the wrong item.3. People were still hungry because they received food they could not eat and they asked for additional portions of food (we were told at our last meeting to do this), and the guests were told there was no extra food. We paid for food for 93 guests, however had 84 guests show up. We paid for 9 extra meals we did not receive.4. There were not enough seats at the table. Our guests were standing during meal service because too many seats had been removed and there were not enough seats at each table for guests.5. The venue had asked for a point person from our side and we assigned my sister. No one listened to my sister when she pointed out things that were needed such as extra seats at the table. They would only do something when either myself (the bride) or the groom told them to. We had a very busy night cleaning up all the mistakes.6. The manager, seeing so many things go wrong, came up to us to tell us that no one told him about the changes so it's not his fault.7. Our day-of coordinator asked our preference for cake slices. We asked for one of each flavor, we did not receive cake aside from the slice we cut ourselves.8. The venue asked if we would like to take extra cake home and we said yes! We did not receive any cake to take home. We had a cake for 100 people and with only 84 guests... where did the rest of our cake go?9. Our day-of coordinator left half way through the night. She told me the name of the coordinator taking over, but I never met him and he didn't introduce himself to me.10. The venue tried to take things that we paid for. We paid for bubble vases from our florist, however, before the end of the night, workers started taking the glass vases. I had to find the manager to explain we paid for these and then he said we could have them back.11. LED candles were not turned on before being placed on tables. All of the things that had gone wrong were things that we had discussed with the day-of coordinator. It seems like her notes just went missing and she didn't tell anyone about anything and just left half-way through the event. The manager was unhelpful and didn't offer any solutions.TLDR; Expect this venue to eat your money right up and not give you what you paid for. People received food they could not eat. We got ripped off paying for 93 meals and only receiving the 84. Our cake for 100 guests somehow had no leftovers. If we weren't aware, the venue would have taken the vases that we paid for.

Brace yourselves, this will be a long one. We picked this venue for the view and for the all-inclusive package. We decided to hire some of our own vendors just due to difference in preference and style. Our last meeting we met our day-of coordinator who would help us with the event. We went over all the final details- from food preferences for guests, to where guests will be seated, basically every small little detail was discussed. Because this event was during COVID, we asked if there was a possibility we could receive the extra food we have already paid for if there were guests who could not show up. We were told to ask for extra plates of food if people were still hungry. We left the meeting feeling confident and ready for our reception. The problems started the day of our reception. We had my daughter's wedding there. Spectacular views and with the Inn and the bowling alley within walking distance we had a great after party as well.

Great venue for an intimate gathering. Nice grounds around the building. Location has limited capacity, but worked well for the event attended
