Goodwill Store in Haight Ashbury, San Francisco, is a local nonprofit that has been transforming lives since 1916 through work opportunities. The store offers a wide selection of items, especially women’s clothing, providing an affordable alternative to new purchases while benefiting the community and the planet. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, particularly a staff member who went above and beyond to return a lost wallet, showcasing the store's commitment to customer service. While shoppers enjoy the unique and retro items available, some mention the lack of dressing rooms and shopping bags, making the experience a bit challenging. Despite these drawbacks, many leave satisfied with their finds, including quality clothing at great prices. The atmosphere is lively, attracting a diverse crowd, though some visitors note that the hipster vibe can sometimes feel overly pretentious. Overall, Goodwill Store is celebrated for its eclectic selection and community spirit, making it a worthwhile stop for both locals and visitors in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood.
This goodwill actually has EVERYTHING. Holy shit. I got me new lulu lemon shirts with tags on them for like $6 a piece. Go to this one.

I found quite a few things that I love here, but no dressing room! So that sucked. And I bought a ton of clothes, but they don’t have bags?!?! So I had to walk around the city carrying an armload of clothes. Boo. But I’m really happy with my purchase. Lucky brand jeans, merino wool bralette, and 3 rompers.
