Not the best to find parking , a pretty small parking lot. But clean and well stocked with good stuff for good prices inside

You probably cannot find everything everything here but whatever that you can find is there for a steal. Great products, great prices!

Great prices, I liked the local price comparisons on hr items. My only complaint is that they did not take American Express and the vegetable selection wasn’t very large

I love grocery outlet. The prices are cheap because they source surplus groceries that are still usable. I always find something new and it’s cheaper than elsewhere. Not the best if you want the same brand of groceries (bc there are no guarantees you’ll see the same thing twice) but amazing if you like variety and want to help combat food waste and save some money.

Decently stocked, prices have gone up quite a bit but generally still lower than larger markets.

This place has incredible and consistent prices on great products. You won't find a better price on meat or most produce. Other items are hot or miss in terms of having your favorite brand in stock

I would be hungry if it weren't for Grocery Outlet. I always fill my backpack and 2 of their large plastic bags for under $90- If you aren't brand centric and fussy about variety you will save a ton. Or rather you will likely spend the same amount but go home with twice as much food. I buy cat food there and its usually half the price I've seen at Safeway. Some things are about the same as other places, but mostly you get real bargains. Nick's Ice Cream is $2.49, When is the last time you paid $1.99 for a Family Size of cereal? Their products change all the time so if you see something you like you better grab it because it might not be there next time.General rule of thumb if something is price outrageously cheap, check the date. If something is expiring in a couple of days, they will mark it down. I've see yogurt 5 for 99c, Cocoa Pebbles for 5 for 98c. Somethings it doesn't matter but dairy and meat it does. I always check the dates anyway.Go shopping here once and you won't go anywhere else.

I went to Grocery Outlet on S Van Ness yesterday evening and I was in shock. It looked like it was going out of business. no eggs, and many sections of frozen food were covered over. The yogurt section and cheeses were a 1/4 filled. What is going on?

The Van Ness location is the best among its peers in the city. Each store is individually owned. Something about the way this team procures their product gives them a better variety. It's also cleaner & I find the staff more dialed into the customer experience. Grocery Outlet, in general, is really smart. Where else can I can my Soy milks, Chocolate milks, Oat milks at half the price of a Safeway and 1/3 the price at Whole Foods. Their dry cereal selection is great if you like to eat healthy. For example their Kashi product options and prices just can't be beat. A $300 grocery bill at Whole Foods or Safeway is gonna be $200 for similar product. And the Van Ness location is so far the best among the different G.0.'s I've visited.

Good selection of products for cheap prices. They need to add more bike parking though.
