SHOPPERS GO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE... THEY DON'T DO THEIR JOB OVER THERE ---UPDATE---THIS OWNER IS SO DESPERATE FOR WORKERS THAT HE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT THE CUSTOMERS SAYYOU KNOW THE SAYING THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT WELL AT THIS STORE THE EMPLOYEE IS ALWAYS RIGHT.The checker walked off and didn't finish bagging my groceries after I paid for it and the supervisor was right there and did not call him back or bag my groceries either stating I would have to wait after 5 customers even though I already paid for my grocery, which made me upset, the african american supervisor said the checker is taking his break, how he gone take a break when he didn't even finish bagging my grocer she didn't care, So I went over to get some 25-cent bags in dropped some quarters on the counter since the supervisor wasn't helping me either while arguing she got so mad that she rushed over to me to try to take my groceries from me after I paid for it. Are you serious the security guard had to stop her from doing that, then she gone say to me " I can't come to the store no more"... what because she and her employee wouldn't bag my grocery like they're paid to do. Here I am an old lady and this is how you treat your customers. I'm going to file a lawsuit against this store cos I recorded it all and these types of workers should not be working at Grocery outlet the supervisor said to me "Now you gone have bag your grocery somewhere else" How happy she was to say that to me ....I told the B go F herself. I will not shop at this store anymore the workers are most likely pocketing every quarter they get for selling bags that's why they wont help you when you bring your own bags plus this store doesn't have quality food. I will go to Safeway where they appreciate a paying customer and are happy to do their job unlike these lazy workers at the San Francisco store on 355 Bayshore Boulevard these lazy idiots treat their customers like they own the store themselves it is just like going to a liquid store they don't care about the customers experience or complaint, they are hating on anyone that can afford to buy alot of food cos they can't afford too do the same, HATING on me because I'm PAID and a REAL way.... and she's bagging groceries all DAY ---keep bagging that food all day or in this case not bag the food -- gone hate on a Real one cos I got it like that-- broke bums do your job...IN F THE COWARD ASS OWNER TOO. he like employees over customers --old sissy-- this store gone go bankrupt within a year mark my word.

They have very good prices. You can always find a great deal. It's never crowded and things are easy to find.

My recent encounter with the grocery store employee overseeing the alcoholic beverages department left much to be desired. The individual's sassy demeanor came across as unprofessional, making the shopping experience uncomfortable. Navigating the aisles felt more like a test of patience than a simple transaction. A more customer-friendly approach would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere of the store.

This was my local grocery store since it opened but as of today I’m switching to the Mission Van Ness branch. Why? This grocery only caters to car users, they have no bike loops or any bike/scooter friendly place to lock up. They used to be able to let me bring the scooters in but now they say that’s no longer allowed and suggested me leaving the (foldable) scooters “by the cars”. It’s a shame the management is awful at this place because the staff themselves are lovely people.

1 of the 2 grocery outlets that I go to, partly because my boyfriend lives closer to this one, but also they have more items than the branch close to my house. What I really like about this grocery outlet is the cheerful staff that they have at the check out counter, and the cleanliness of the store. Like any other branch, most items you see one day won't be there the next time you go, but if you're not at all picky about brands and are up to explore a few new ones (or varieties of the same brand), you'll be pleasantly surprised. I'm always thrilled when they have a drink/food item that I love and somehow it's there. Otherwise, they will always have your basic staples as well - perfect if you want to complete your shopping trip in one go.There's always parking whenever we come by, but the lot is shared with the nearby auto store so don't be too surprised if you see a couple of people fixing their cars.

Shout out to the honest and super helpful staff who both searched for and returned my wallet after I dropped it like a doofus when leaving the store. Blown away by how professional the folks working here are, especially given that this neighborhood can be rough around the edges. Deets: Great for keto and paleo diets, like many locations, and this location does a solid job keeping various cheeses and deli meats in stock throughout the week. Zero carb candies and sodas as well. This is the neighborhood super market for most folks in a half-mile radius, and has most essentials you'd expect at a Safeway.

I've shopped here a couple of times now. I'd say, if you are looking for a bargain on groceries and you are planning to cook and eat it soon then, Grocery Outlet is a great place to shop. Certain items do have a short best by date or expiration date which is why they sell cheap. Some of the produce isn't great but some are not bad. I've gotten a bag of 6 bell peppers for $3.99 before compared to $7.99 at Costco for the same amount. I have not been able to find a weekly ad online so I go in not knowing what I will walk out with. One day I found spare ribs for $2.99 lbs when Safeway had them for $4.99 lbs but the next time I went they didn't have the ribs. Some items such as snacks are sold for dirt cheap and won't return again. Aisles are kept clear and clean and I find the cashiers to be nice and pleasant.

Grocery outlet on Geary street in San Francisco is bad in customer service. The staffs could hardly understand English and the owner is not friendly. Would rather go to the one in South San Francisco. The staffs are friendly and attentive!
