Never worked with any sales at this location. We went in w/out an appointment, greeted at the door by the guard...he asked if we had any appt and we told him we didn't, he told us if we need assistance, let him know and he'll find us a SA. So we walked around the store, found some items we like to see, approached back to the guard and mentioned to him we needed some help and he said a SA will be with us in a moment. Well we waited and waited for 10 min+, no one came to help us.. The store was almost 'empty with 1 customer (who was being helped) while other 5+ sales were standing around the floor, chit chatting / texting. So we went upstairs to browse for more... there were 2 customers (1 being helped by a SA, the other one was just sitting at the shoes dept w/ her dog and baby alone). There were about 4 sales / employees upstairs too... we spent about 10 min upstairs w/ zero help offered. Went back downstairs and those SAs still chit chatting / texting at the same spot. Excellent service! Never ever will return to this location...

I would definitely go if you are wanting to start a relationship with the fashion house! Go during the week and not weekend, since it's busier during the weekends. However, I would avoid Soizic if you want to start that relationship. Wanting to go to purchase a few things on a weekend, everyone was busy so I was left alone to explore the store, which is ok! I love doing that. I was looking around for a while because again, everyone was busy. Except for Soizic, there was no eagerness, no motivation to even help from her. She was walking around fidgeting with things for a while prior to helping me. She only decided to help out when someone else, who was helping another individual pointed me out. I'm not saying she was courteous, but seeing other reviews of her and my personal experience with her. I wouldn't want her as my SA. She said she would "call me" if the item was available but she didn't even bother taking down my contact info or handeding me her card LOL. If you want some Hermes I would say definitely go, but avoid Soizic as your SA. Again not saying she was rude but I just wouldn't want to start this relationship with someone who seems unmotivated and unreliable This was form a visit in 2023, I dont recall the exact time frame. Have not been back since. Therefore, Im not sure if that individual is there anymore. But just as an FYI.

This is an honest review of Hermes SF. As a long-time customer, I have worked with three different sales associates, but my experiences have been less than satisfactory. Despite spending a considerable amount of money at Hermes, I have only been treated with lukewarm politeness. The staff members are friendly during the shopping experience but become distant when an item needs to be returned or exchanged. There is also an expectation that customers who spend significant sums of money will receive an offer for a bag, but this has not been my experience. Management is a cause for concern, as evidenced by other reviews. One manager provided erroneous information about the availability of Picotin bags. Although the store has some excellent sales associates, the inconsistencies in customer service are problematic. It is suggested that customers work with newer sales associates, and that communication and transparency are improved. In summary, Hermes SF has received a rating of 2.5 stars from this patron. The inconsistencies in customer service, particularly with respect to bag offers, are problematic. It is hoped that Hermes SF will take steps to address these issues and provide customers with a more satisfactory experience.

What sup with all the good reviews here? I spent $10k and I never received any bag offer. My SA never call or text me. She was new last year, not sure if she really doesn't get any bags? But it is very discouraging.

My fantastic SA Antoine is such a star. Went in with my very young daughter to buy a gift for my aunt. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. He gave my daughter an Hermes coloring book and pencils to distract her, as well as an H sticker, which she proudly declared was the best present she'd ever received ;-) He quickly found a gorgeous scarf, wrapped it impeccably, and was genuinely interested in providing us with a top notch experience and exceptional customer service. Thanks for being you, Antoine.

Love this boutique. Love my SA. They make every time i come in very personable and i could chat with my SA for hours. I’m very lucky to say that given the other reviews aren’t that great. They always have my size in stock even though i have a larger shoe size which other boutiques i’ve noticed don’t. Overall every time I come in it’s always an experience worth remembering. Will forever shop at this store

I well understand the luxury market, but arrogance is not to be rewarded. My wife and I visited this Hermes after Christmas. She was looking for a cross body. Understandably, they rarely have them in store, whether NY, London or SF. Cool. However, when my wife inquires (and she is wearing Hermes, Cartier and what have you, as well as dressed nicely, the response is 'You need to develop a relationship.' Great. Let's start one. 'You need to develop a relationship.' Same response. More than twice. At which point we left. We may again shop Hermes, but certainly not this one. Rude and tacky. The London one is at least proper and polite. Tip- everyone at Neiman Marcus, Tiffany, Cartier, Burberry and Patek treat us well. It's fun going to those places.

Staff that share contradictory info vs corporate and argue policy inaccurately. Eventually the manager checked with corporate and reversed his statement without apology or remorse.Target associates have more civility, seems like individual stores have incentivized bad behaviors and non-customer centric culture.

This particular store is the epitome of arrogant and elitist and really needs to understand that the customers pay your wages/salary NOT the other way around!I visited this store on Tuesday 21 November as I had an issue with a pair of sneakers I had purchased less than a week earlier in LA.I was sent up to the shoe department, where I was made to wait for 10 mins as everyone ignored me. I finally got the attention of a SA who asked if I was waiting for someone, I replied yes and she proceeded to ignore me again. I approached her again and mentioned that I was needing help at which time she advised she would message someone to come up to assist and she returned to playing on her phone.I was finally approached by someone (who I later discovered was a boutique director by the name of Pinky) and asked what I needed. I proceeded to tell this particular staff member that I had an issue with the sneakers I was wearing and wanting to know what options were available to me given that these were purchase less than a week ago and had only been worn a total of 2 times in that period (once to try on at home). The left shoe clearly had a defect as the leather had started to split. I advised that I was visiting from Australia, and was due to return home on a flight that night.I presented a photograph of the purchase receipt, and advised that the purchase was placed on my brother-in-law's client profile and offered his phone number for ease of looking it up. Pinky, refused to take the phone number asking for his full name instead.I was then asked if the sneakers were the "Depart" model, before she went out the back to check stock. Shortly after, Pinky returned to ask what size I was. I answered and she went back tot he back only to come back and advise that she didn't have the shoe in my size, but did have a different colour way. Based on Pinky's actions, I assumed an exchange would be possible. I mentioned I would be opened to taking the different colour, to which I was then told that wasn't possible and faulty items MUST be sent to Paris for evaluation and approval before an exchange given.I understand that this may be the policy, but why waste my time asking what model and size I was as if to give the impression that a straight exchange would be given. She couldn't even advise if Hermes Australia would be able to assist me once I returned home. What further added to my frustration was later advised by the original store in LA that whilst the standard policy is to have faulty items sent to Paris for evaluation, the boutique director as the discretion to authorise and exchange should they wish to.I did return to the store and asked to speak to the director as I wanted to know why I was being given 2 different stories. The SA sent a message to the director and was told that I she had already spoken to me and would be entertaining any further communication with me as she was busy doing "something." When I questioned the SA about what the LA store had advised regarding the director having the discretion to offer an exchange, I got told "I'm only the messenger!"Needless to say, the experience at this store was extremely poor and if this is the level of service clients of the brand are to receive from a "flagship" store I'll be questioning remaining a client of Hermes. What I do know is I will never frequent this location again after my interaction with Pinky.

Lovely store spacious and well displayed, the guard was friendly while the SA Viv wasn’t. I was kind of pushed to purchase a bag I can’t say I totally like …. went home with it and immediately need to exchange for smaller items because of traveling issue sales representative’s attitude became cold told me they cannot refund and keep on denying on my other purchase inquiries. Whole experience was considerably uncomfortable compare to other Hermes store I have shopped in USA. Do consider when making a purchase in this SF store.? The sale’s rep attitude can change dramatically when I want to make a purchase she is completely helpful and when something went wrong she just turns back at me?

I have had the most wonderful experience at this location thanks to the friendliest sales associate I was lucky enough to meet, Lek.My first visit was April 2022. Last minute trip to SF so no appt, and I waited in line for about an hour until I finally made it to the front and the store was about to close. I had decided to give up but they let me in and Lek told me to relax and not feel rushed, and I left happily with 2 beautiful scarves for me and my husband. A few months later I contacted Lek to purchase an Hermes Apple Watch. This March I contacted Lek ahead of time because I knew I’d be in SF for my birthday. She booked me an appt and gave my husband and I a full tour of the store. We were there for over 2 hours. I left with my first bag, more scarves, bracelets, and a pair of shoes for him.Thank you Lek for helping make this the most special birthday shopping trip ever.

I used to be intimidated to shop at the Hermes boutiques. Recently, I had an awesome time at the San Francisco Hermes Boutique. I was introduced to Barbara, she was very patient and made me extremely comfortable and relaxed. I can’t thank her enough for her time and attention.

My experience has always been 5 stars. The person that helped me is Othent and he's the nicest SA I have ever worked with. The store is clean and there is always several people to greet you and help you get what you need. However, people need to patient when getting things because of the pandemic inventory is limited but it's not the SA's fault.

Love the fashion house, don't love the sales person. I've been trying to work with one sales person here, Soizic, since this is a brand that requires you to form relationships in order to get things. But she has been 45 mins to 1 hour late to all our confirmed appointments. No apologies, no explanation, just "what are you looking for today?" She also never replies to any text when I'm searching for any items, even ones readily available on the website. She only replies to when I'm asking for an appointment or mention I'm coming into the store. I asked for a belt that was available on the site because I want to order it through her. It has been 4 months since then, no reply. The color is no longer available. I missed out on a beautiful belt. Very unbecoming of a luxury fashion house. I get better service at the Gucci outlets! Perhaps I'll have better luck with another sales person.
