The manager at this Hertz is incredible multilingual(english, korean, japanese, chinese and more) friendly, and very helpful. My reserved car wasn’t available, but he suggested a better option. Renting a car here was super easy. Highly recommend!

Such an easy and quick process to rent a car! Luna helped me during the process and made it so pleasant and explained everything thoroughly. We were in and out with the rental within 20 minutes. We did prebook the car on Expedia so it may have made the process quicker. Minus one star because the car didn’t seem like it was cleaned, the previous rental receipt was still in the car and there were a few ants crawling around.

Very Happy with Hertz in this location and with Hertz in general. We booked a sedan for 9 days. The car was ready for us when we got there. We got 2025 Toyota Corolla which was very clean and was a pleasure to drive. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was a young driver fee for additional driver that turned out to be not under additional driver limit (not capped). Very good experience otherwise! We were returning in another location.

We booked a car online with Hertz to pick up from San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf and drop off at Los Angeles Airport. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled for some reason. The manager was quite rude at first, but eventually they managed to give us the same car we had originally booked. However, they charged us an extra $200 for “insurance and other fees.”
When I showed them proof from the Hertz website that the original price included everything, they told us we had no choice: either pay the extra $200 or leave without the car. Since we needed the vehicle, we had no option but to take it.
Fortunately, when we contacted Hertz customer care, they were really nice and very helpful. They confirmed that we had been overcharged and quickly issued us a refund. While the experience at the Fisherman’s Wharf location was stressful and disappointing, the professionalism and support from customer care made up for it.

We’ve rented from hertz a few times and always had pleasant experiences. We’ve always had fast service, received the car we requested and never had to wait for service.

I parked the car before 8 o'clock the next morning, and then entered the store to queue up to return the car. When I got to me, it was already 8:30. Then I returned the key to the staff. As a result, the system showed that I returned the car at 10:30 and deducted an extra day's money. What a rubbish car rental company, and I will never use it again.

I booked a car through ADAC Germany, once I arrived I had to wait around 15min since it was quite crowded. The employee was really friendly and she even upgraded me free of charge! My car (Kia K5) was basically brand new, it had only 5000 miles. It was also clean outside and inside.

The two guys running the Hertz here completely saved my vacation to Tahoe. The Avis/Budget next door was a complete shitshow. I had a reservation with Avis/Budget that they could not accommodate and the Hertz here saved the day. They recognized my pricing with my former reservation and got me into a safe and clean car in a very time effective manner. I became a Gold member after this experience with Hertz. Thank you!
