I had a great stay at Hotel Kabuki. It's my go to when visiting SF. It's in Japan town and many good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. This location is so much better than Union Square hotels. The hotel bar was fantastic, beautiful lobby, and a fun photo booth. I recommend staying here; I definitely will be in the future.Food & drinks: The restaurant attached Nari is delicious. I highly recommend.

Room was not air conditioned and had to leave window open to cool off. The whole building is either heated or cooled (centrally controlled) and you do not have a choice. Our only option was turn it off or open window, which was very loud at night and made poor sleep.Sheets are extremely noisy and plastic like, so every time you or your partner move at night, you will no doubt rejoice in the lovely noise.Asked if we could check out a day early and was told no and had to pay full price. We ate the cost and left early.Gym is very nice and the lobby coffee is great.Location is top notch.Parking is an additional 45/ day and you cannot come and go as you please. If warm rooms are not a dealbreaker, then this hotel is great.

What a cool experience. I was here for business and enjoyed the stay! I was able to park inside their lot. Freddy was at the front, i'm not sure if he was a doorman, or bellman, but he was great! helped me unload all my stuff on a cart and waited with me while I checked in. Check in was fast and friendly. Freddy rolled the cart with my luggage to my room 2404 and unloaded everything. The room was big! they had a cool sitting area along one wall that was so long! if you step on it you can open a sliding glass door to a small balcony for some fresh air. The bed was comfortable, something I really enjoy in a hotel room. Pillows were soft! The bathroom was clean. The room was quiet. I enjoyed the fast internet. In the morning I woke up and made some tea, it was great! they also had coffee selections in the room but i'm a tea guy. I went downstairs for breakfast. I had a quick bite... pancakes, eggs and chicken sausage, along with some orange juice! The ambiance of the hotel is great, its decolorated really nice. I didn't get a chance to check out the bar (or drinks) but I will on my next stay. While I was there I went down to the garden level to check out the gym, Wow!!! It had probably every piece of equipment you could want. I was in heaven! all in all a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! thanks everyone!

Wish I could say I had a good experience. I arrived during APEC late and was given a room that was not finished. On the second day housekeeping took everything out of the room like I had checked out including the soap and shampoo…. Such a disappointment…

This just isn't worth the rate. The service was on average better than typical US hotels. The location is good and was not as sketchy as a lot of places in the city these days. The on site beehive was very cool. The "shopping mall" was quite sabishii na...Nearby activities: Japan Town

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kabuki! Our room was clean and quiet. We did not interact with the staff too much, but when we did they were very polite and friendly. The hotel is surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. There is even a Japanese grocery store down the block. This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a low-key area to stay in San Francisco. If we're in SF again, we will definitely be staying here!

Loved our stay here - room was very clean and quiet. The lobby is very upscale and the parking lot has electric vehicle charging for a small number of cars. Great location as well, very central to SF. Check out the bee hive in the middle of the garden.

Room was ok. Small, clean & comfy bed!!! The shower was amazing. Very quiet. Free coffee at the lobby. 5min walk to the Filmore. We parked in the garage for $29 overnight. There is a connecting door from the garage (ground level) to the hotel which we surprisingly discovered! The balcony is very small but had a nice view of the city which we appreciated. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant (no time). Would stay again! Quick check in & out!

Great Lobby, and great location. I’m on the highest floor but still hear lots of street noise. Also the shower pressure is not great.Globalist benefit is great because destination fee, premium internet, and breakfast is covered (breakfast is mediocre, not worth if you have to pay) also I did get upgraded, but not to a suite.

One of my favourite hotels in SF! Super spacious rooms, super clean and comfortable and great service. Has a nice gym downstairs and an amazing hotel bar. Located among dozens of great Japanese restaurants.

First of all, I loved the aesthetic of the hotel and room! Also, great location, not only was it right next to Japantown, but close to a lot of notable San Francisco places. But I was most impressed with the service. I would like to thank one of the front desk concierge, Jason, for being so nice and going above and beyond for our family. He gave us milk for our toddler and when laundry service lost his teddy bear, he and the other hotel staff helped locate it and shipped it back to us in Houston. This is exceptional and went above and beyond our expectations! We would definitely stay here again!
