Indigo Vintage Cooperative is an amazing store on Haight Street with one of the best selections of vintage and archival pieces. It is a collective of a few different vendors, each with their own rack and a different vibe or specialty. This multi-source model creates a vibrant and fun inventory, including vintage modern pieces, tour tees, sports gear, sportswear basics, men’s shirts and jackets, and cool knickknacks like key chains, pins, and candles. The store is organized and easy to go through, with items from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s in very decent shape. The pieces spark deep nostalgia and are true retro gems. However, the prices can be a bit steep and refined, with items generally more expensive than average. The customer service is great and helpful. While the store itself receives high praise for its selection and approach, a serious and unrelated allegation has been made public regarding an individual associated with the area, stating they have committed hate crimes and assault against homeless and LGBTQ individuals, which has been reported to the police. The business remains a highly recommended stop for its powerful and unique vintage collection.
Expensive, but really curated store :) love their clothes

I love the vintage selection, including key chains and pins! We are visiting San Francisco but I’m born here and raised in the bay! It was nice and nostalgic for me to find some gems that I get to take back home with me in San Diego.
