JCX Expendables is a staple of Bay Area film production and an awesome, very unique place. It is a well-stocked main store for all the nick nack items required for a stage hand technician. The shop carries awesome high quality film lighting, a great stock and variety of production essentials, and shelves of gaffe tape. The staff is super nice, extremely friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They take the time to help and educate customers, having saved the day for those in a pinch. It is an important place for budding independent film makers, audio visual rental companies, and a great female-owned business to support.
The service, selection, and people are always top notch. I don't know what my production company would do without JCX.
