About Jerry Garcia Amphitheater
Jerry Garcia Amphitheater is a great small outdoor theater space and venue in a less visited part of San Francisco, located in a nice park. It is a great space to enjoy live entertainment and free concerts with good acoustics. The vibe is awesome with lots of people dancing, tie-dyes everywhere, and out of this world vibes. It offers a shaded trail for long walks and space to picnic, encouraging people to bring a blanket. It is semi-accessible via public transit with a walk from the bus stop. Wheelchair accessibility is present but can be rough on the hills, though event staff are friendly and happy to help. It is a place to celebrate the spirit of Jerry Garcia with free entertainment.
Another great Jerry day celebrating the genius of the greatest most unique, improvisational, blues /rock/ jazz /bluegrass and jamming guitarist/band of all time. Long live the spirit of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead!
