Rude staff, strict tardy policy and inconsistent instructor quality

I want to love this place because the instructors I've taken classes with are awesome and I love the structure of the flows themselves, but I have a huge issue with how they set up the rooms. They try and fit way too many people in the large studio. Today in my hot hit flow class I had the pleasure of being 3 inches away from my neighbor who sweat on me all of class. Not only are you way too close for comfort, but there's truly not enough space to even do the moves properly. I get that Karma wants to make that money, but if they were to remove just one mat spot from each row it would be 1000x more pleasant.

Love the variety of classes offered here. I've been coming here every week for the past few months, and I am obsessed with their hit HIIT flow classes. I just wish that they would allow more space in between people inside their studios. I've accidentally bumped people next to me too many times. I also wish that they had a nicer cancellation policy. As long as I can keep accessing their classes through ClassPass I'll probably keep coming here as long as I live in the city!

Very rude front desk and terrible customer service caused so much stress and not recommended at all! Don't even bother, people are right here!

Classes are fine, definitely not traditional yoga but a decent workout if you're in the mood. Better places nearby: YogaFlow down the street for more of a true yoga class or CorePower for weighted sculpt style classes. Classes aside, I had some unpleasant experiences with the staff there. The front desk person was quite rude when I asked to move to the back of the class, and the instructor was very aggressive in asking me to move my mat to "my assigned space" when I was just confused about how their studio worked. Could've been handled better. Overall not worth the price for mediocre classes and unfriendly staff.

I've been a big fan of karma for years. Love the classes, have brought a handful friends along with and was so happy they got creative during COVID with the digital and outdoor class options (bring back the garage rooftop!). Finally attended my first class this last Saturday back in person and it did not disappoint! Before booking the class I figured buying a 10 pack would be a good way to go so I could get a slight discount on the class price but also because they do not expire for 2 years so a big win win there. Was checking my emails this morning and saw a new deal they had just sent out - 20 classes for $300 and no expiration. Woah! I emailed immediately to ask if there would be any way to return my pack and switch to this new deal and that I would be more than happy to pay for the 1 class I used or subtract that from the 20 and still pay the full price. The email response telling me there was no way they could do that was really disappointing. I totally get times are tough because of COVID but my class was jam packed Saturday and I'm guessing they will continue to be that way because of how much people love a good sweat. Just a note I thought I'd leave here. Great classes but really turned off by this interaction.

I have a love/hate relationship with Karma Yoga. The studio space is cute and clean, hot workouts are the best, and their classes are great! However, being at Karma feels like I'm in the movie "Mean Girls" (they wear Lulu everyday, not just Wednesdays). I've been loyal to Karma via ClassPass and their own app for years. Last week, I got to class and had a parking meter catastrophe. Instead of leaving early I was honest with the front desk and said I wouldn't be able to make the whole class. However, Eva Braun behind the counter said she would tell ClassPass I was late. I told her I was there and she had already marked me as checked me in. Eva stated me leaving early violated their terms with ClassPass, but she lying and saying I was late didn't. Leaving early bad, lying good. Now I come on Yelp and see they've been marking others as falsely late too. Glad to know I wasn't the only victim of their wrath!

First time here. I arrived "late" at 6:30 for a 6:30 class. I get that I should have been early but I couldn't make it earlier. Another student came in at the exact same time and they told her she could go in to the class because she had been there before but they told me I couldn't because it was a safety issue since it was my first time. How it is a safety issue for me but not for her is beyond me and seemed rather arbitrary. So if you decide to go here please arrive 10 minutes early on your fist visit to avoid any "safety issues". I wish they had warned me. ⚠️

This is not a traditional yoga studio! Definitely power yoga if anything. Music was super loud. It's also rather expensive, they don't seem to offer any monthly unlimited packages etc. It was very clean though and if you go regularly you'd probably get in shape-just wasn't what I look for in a yoga studio.

I'm so happy to have found this place. I took a class with instructor Michelle and it was amazing! Such a good workout that I actually enjoyed! That was my first class but I will for sure be back!

I have been going to Karma Yoga for 3 years, they had great teachers, and I was very happy to return after pandemic through ClassPass. I arrived at the class on time. I showed the time to the front desk, but they didn't allow me to get in, saying that they have a policy to arrive 5 min earlier (which they I never heard of). Then they reported to the classpass on my no show, and I got charged for $20. I complained and class pass reached to them, they claimed that I didn't show up. I'm so disappointed by the lying. It's the time to say goodbye to the studio.

I thought it was a yoga studio, but more like basecamp fitness.

Awesome overall experience! A well-designed, clean, yoga studio complemented by friendly staff and incredible instructors! Kalen’s HIIT Flow class was both challenging and fun! She’s a smart instructor who knows how to improve people’s body & mindset simultaneously via the mind-body connection through exercise! Carrie, the owner, has done a fantastic job creating and cultivating such a positive, health-promoting culture! Every employee there made a positive impact on my day, and I’m very grateful I had an opportunity to attend!

Love Karma, Carrie the owner is wonderful, as are all the staff and instructors. Have been coming here for years for Pilates & Yoga... Couldn't recommend it more highly!
