Our child attended Little Bananas from 18mo until preschool and we were very happy to have found them. They showed a great level of care and communication throughout. We found the curriculum to be a nice mix of structured and play-based. Highly recommend!

We were so fortunate to have found Little Bananas for our little one! Genesis and Eric are a dream team and are amazing teachers. We sent our little one here when he was 10 months and he stayed until he turned 2.I couldn't have asked for a better daycare as a first time parent. I trust them with my little one 1000%! They seriously do so much here for the kiddos, from daily walks around the neighborhood to the park and even to the zoo and walks on the beach trails. My little one learned sooo much from genesis and Eric, every thing from his speech, language to motor skills to his manners. Like everything he knows, it's because of them! Most daycares have lots of play time but they do a ton of arts and crafts here and learn about a subject each month. And there's even music class every Tuesdays! It's honestly the most engaging daycare for your kiddos. They 100% prepared my kiddo for preschool and when he started preschool recently, he adjusted almost immediately. Abuela is also amazing and my little one adores her sooo much!!! She somehow can always instantly calms him down with just a hug! We were so sad to leave and cannot recommend little bananas enough! They build a community here, it's not just a place for your kiddos but they get the parents involved and get them together as well which I think is such a great thing! There are field trips for the kiddos a couple of times a year, quarterly parent teacher conference and get together for the parents....it's honestly such a great community. We love Genesis, Eric and Abuela and Miss them dearly.

We are forever grateful to have found this rare gem of a daycare/preschool. We were very particular about choosing a daycare for our youngest son due to developmental delays, and sending him to a large daycare where he would be easily lost in the crowd was not an option. We toured SO MANY daycares and Little Bananas definitely stood out from the rest. The moment we stepped into Little Bananas, they genuinely wanted to get to know my son and welcomed him with open arms. My husband and I immediately agreed that this was the best place by far. Little did we know that they would go on to go above and beyond to exceed our expectations! My little one was a little over a year old when he started there, and he is now 6 years old! So many milestones were achieved as a direct result of the quality care they provided to help him thrive and reach his full potential. They are still the only people outside our family we trust to care for our son.Genesis and her husband are amazing caregivers and teachers! They do circle time in English and Spanish, teach not only the basics - but also social and emotional learning, diversity & inclusion, and have special music teachers come in for live music. They have taken the kids on fun field trips to the zoo, the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and quality indoor play places like PlayHaven. They also use a secure app only parents have access to, letting us know what fun and educational activities the kids partake in every day, record diaper changes, what they eat for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, not to mention they take awesome pictures of the kids enjoying their day!Little Bananas not only provides exceptional care but also strives to build a community among families. They host potlucks and fun seasonal parties for families to get to know each other. Because we have stayed with them for such a long time, we have seen many happy children graduate and are well-prepared for the next phase of their education. Every family we have met in our close-knit community feels the same way as us - that we all lucked out in finding them! They were a lifesaver during the pandemic. They stayed open to ensure children of frontline workers could continue to work, ensuring that they deep-cleaned even more than usual, and followed guidelines to provide a safe environment for the kiddos when many other places were shut down. They even hosted virtual Zoom classes and created activity kits for the children whose families chose to stay at home so that they would continue to have access to educational activities even if they were not on site. That just shows how much they care about the well-being of all their students.There are no words that I could write to truly express how much we love Little Bananas and how appreciative we are for the personalized and extraordinary care they have provided to us. We could not have asked for anything better. We highly recommend Little Bananas if you are lucky enough to get an open spot here!

We love Little Bananas and cannot sing their praises enough! It is a very loving environment and great attention is paid to each child. They are nurtured and taught at their level and each child thrives. We miss our Bananas family and would suggest them to anyone looking for a place where their child will be accepted with open arms, open play, circle time, wonderful art projects, and delicious/nutritious food.

Little Bananas is an intimate, small daycare that truly seems like a family. Genesis and Eric took such great care of our son and treated him as their own, showing him so much love, always being available if we needed extra care during an evening or weekend, or even overnight.Having only one child, we really looked to Genesis and Eric for guidance on many topics relating to our son and they were always very attentive and there to help. It never ever felt like they were running a business;. It felt like being part of a loving family that is truly passionate about childcare.Leaving Genesis and Eric was the single hardest aspect of us deciding to move to the East Coast, and we really wish we could have taken them with us, or replicate their set up in another daycare. Sadly, I think that would be nearly impossible because they are one in a million. We miss them tremendously and hope that other families can have the same experience we had.

Picking Little Bananas Daycare was one of the best decisions I made being a new mom. They go above and beyond for your child everyday I was just amazed with how much my daughter learned while being there, they helped prepare and transition her through all her toddler stages and even potty trained her during weekend care! I have no regrets and if there is a baby #2 in our future I would choose Little Bananas Daycare 1000 times over

Our family had the great privilege to have the loving care of Eric + Gen @Little Bananas for our daughter starting at 5 months old. It was a hard time for all during the hight of Covid and they did a wonderful job providing a safe cozy warm home environment where their home is an extension of your own. Our daughter loved them and their sweet cats, squealing and kicking in the stroller when we approached the house. Both Eric + Gen have training and education in early education and created such impressive curriculum for the little ones - art, music, celebrating all holidays and each families culture.One of the hardest parts of moving from San Francisco was saying goodbye to them and the safe, loving, thoughtful care they showed our little girl and the entire family. I cried harder saying goodbye to them than anyone else in my community! Gen created a beautiful book for us of all the sweet memories of her time in their program - happy memories and lots of gratitude for two busy working parents. As a 2nd time parent now having both kids in several daycares in several states - they were the most consistent and loving. Thank you Eric + Gen - we miss you!

There are so many daycares in San Francisco, but my wife and I knew right away when we toured Little Bananas that this was where we wanted to send our daughter. Genesis, Eric, and Gel are fantastic! They kept us at ease (especially since this was our daughter's first time being away from us) with regular updates and pictures through the Brightwheel app. They also kept our daughter engaged with various activities, crafts, field trips (e.g., the beach, the zoo), and music lessons. They also arranged for several events so all the parents could get to know each other.Additionally, my wife and I appreciated how they were willing to help with what we were trying to teach our daughter at home. They helped her as she was potty training and also while she was having a hard time with napping. Furthermore, they met with us several times a year to review our daughter's developmental progress.Genesis and Eric went above and beyond during the first few weeks of the coronavirus pandemic. While they were not required to close, they closed the daycare for a few days in order to make sure it was thoroughly cleaned. They also made sure parents and kids washed their hands prior to drop off and pick up. In the meantime, they arranged for circle time for the kids via Zoom and even dropped off projects for our daughter to complete when she was not at daycare.We are so sad that our daughter is leaving Little Bananas--time goes by so fast, and she's now starting preschool! We knew she was so well prepared, though, because of her time at Little Bananas. We can't thank Genesis, Eric, and Gel enough for their love, care, time, energy, enthusiasm, and patience with our daughter. We HIGHLY recommend Little Bananas Daycare; your child will be in good hands!

Little Bananas was like a second family to us the last few years! Our daughter started with Ms. Genesis and Ms. Gel at 6 months (at previous daycare) and then over a year at Little Bananas with Mr. Eric too. They all provide a very loving, supportive, fun, and educational environment, with lots of free play, structured circle time, outdoor play, field trips to the zoo/beach/park, art projects, music time, and more. They also provide healthy hot breakfast, lunch, and snack which makes life so much easier. They helped us through many transitions - solid foods, weaning bottle, walking, potty training, nap time on a mat - all generally with more success than we had at home! She loved going to daycare every day, and when we had a hard time getting her ready in the morning telling her we'd go see Mr. Eric, Ms. Genesis, and her friends always motivated her to get going. We just moved on to preschool and while daughter misses it a lot, the routine and things she learned at LB have helped ease the transition. We recommend Little Bananas very highly!

Little Bananas is a home away from home. I can't say enough good things about the thought put into creating a loving and stimulating environment. The children are kept busy with many activities but are also taught to care and be responsible. Teachers are communicative and caring. Only problem is we have to fight with our son to get him to come home every day!!!

Genesis, Eric, and Gelica are a dream team! We have been with them for almost a year and they have become like family to us. Their deep love for the children shows in everything they do, from the circle-time adventures, to the home-cooked meals and snacks. I had a bad experience at a previous day care so was very anxious when we came to Little Bananas. They understood our fears and made sure we were 100% comfortable, answering all our questions. They are all highly certified with many years experience working with children and babies.The children all love them and you can see by their smiles and laughs that they feel safe and happy there. We are constantly updated on their daily activities through an app and get near-daily pictures and videos of the kids enjoying their day. Field trips to the zoo and nearby playground happen every week and the kids get plenty of outside time in the backyard.I highly recommend Little Bananas to anyone looking for care for their babies or toddlers!
