Take time to get help, but when they do come - They really help.

Today’s garden cashier 6/28 10:25am was terrible. He had attitude when I kindly suggested to get the price fixed for the plant items. He said “why don’t you get a manager, I’m only a cashier.” Like he had no willingness to solve the issue. Lowes, please either have all tools for your customer service staff or get better training and communication with each staff member to resolve small issues like pricing that should not be there in the first place.

I just got some hardware, but the people behind the counter kept glaring at me like I was a thief maybe, or perhaps was some spoiled dude...who knows! ? All I know is they were filled with erroneous conviction.

How are you a retail store that literally has no shopping carts?

Low prices don't make up for poor experiences.
I spent over an hour waiting for wood cutting after purchasing wood for a home project.
The cashier called for assistance five times, and no one even walks by to ask if any help is needed. This was at 1:30 p.m. on a Tuesday - There are 10-plus employees on the floor!
I opted to get a refund after over an hour waiting around in the store and will be spending my money at other hardware stores/lumber yards in the city.
Update to reply:
Found a local hardware store that was able to fulfill my needs and the customer service was by and far orders of magnitude better than Lowes. The robotic response that seems to be used for all of the poor reviews here are symbolic of the issues that Lowe's seems to be contenting with with a fair share of lost customers.

Very frustrating store, despite a constant police presence, they don't seem to be able to keep inventory of small, high-priced things. Their website will show something like Sharkbite available, only to show up to rummage through an unsorted mess of bins that don't contain what I want. The staff there is as unhelpful as most retail staff is in SF.
So I'd recommend Home Depot in Colma or Daly City. Such a shame that corporate greed closed the much bigger and useful Lowe's in South San Francisco.

In my opinion they are well stocked, they have a little of everything. As for the time of paying, we did it at a self-collection cashier since we did not find a cashier but we did not have any inconvenience at the time of payment.

I've rarely had a good experience at this Lowe's. The selection sucks, most of the staff are unfriendly or clueless, and it is near impossible to get help when needed. The tool section is the worst of all: it is tiny and requires you to purchase anything you walk out of that section with, including anything in your cart you walk in with. Do yourself a favor and go to the Lowe's in San Bruno near Tanforan instead.
