  I really regret to choose this company. My two pieces of furniture were damaged and it was the result of totally careless handling. It is avoidable, but the movers didn't care. All they care was to rip me off by exaggerating the labor so that they can get more money than it says on the paper. That also happened when they picked up the furniture saying the volume seems larger than you estimated even though actually the volume is smaller. After I said I will not load more than I reserved and throw away the extra, then they gave up.
  I placed the claim and got $96 for the broken leg for midcentury sofa and chipped off mid century buffet. And it took 7 months to get $96. They didn't voluntarily send the money, so I needed to make calls. Again, no apology when I made a call. Rather, they said it's usual to take several months to send money even after the settlement. It's unbelievable.

  Another perfect moving experience with master movers. Help my family member move in the city AGAIN..price was the lowest and the workers worked arses off. Nothing lost nothing broken. Contract was easy to understand and followed. Hiring locals who know how to manipulate the roads and apartments is the best way to do things around the city. I can’t recommend this company enough. Thanks master movers. Go giants!!! Gung hey fat choy.

  My wife had some things moved cross country after a relative passed. They under quoted us and held the belongings hostage until we paid almost triple the quote. The manager was overly rude and dismissive. Claiming they werent responsible for the misquote. Your quote. Not responsible for YOUR quote??? Get a better company. Youll end up paying more in the end for this cheap operation.

  I moved from Oregon to California. Overall satisfied with service. No hassles with $, reasonable pricing, movers wrapped all my furniture in blankets and plastic, they were quick and friendly. My belongings showed up in good condition just a couple days later than anticipated but overall no complaints. Just be very clear about what you’re having them take and drop off. Send in photos. Allow for some extra time between pick up and drop off.

  Lied about dimensions, and scammed us for an extra $2500 from original quote. Scammers indefinitely! DO NOT USE OR TRUST this company!

  Master Moving Inc I moved from California to Michigan Spoke to Allison on November 11, 2023 She sent me over an Binding Moving Estimate # 8961061 Of $1915.90! When the mover's arrived on November 13, 2023 and loaded All of my things On the truck, he then said that the price would be $5100.00, I asked him to take my stuff off the truck because that was not the price that I was quoted by Allison! The moving guys Daniel said No, he will not take the things off the truck, I then told him that I'm going to call the Police he said by the time they get here they will be gone (It was Five Guys there) , and I would Have to continue with the move, or they would take my things to there storage until I paid them that $5100 then he made me sign a form that says I give the Authorization to charged my credit card for $2,630.46 and a Interstate Uniform Household Goods Bill Of Lading And Order For Service Form! When I signed it! It only had the $715.90 and $1,253.64 on it, he then changed the amounts to $1,753.64 and added the $5100 $2630.64 after I signed the form. When they delivered my things I had to give them two United States Postal Service Money Order! One For $1,000 and One for $753.64 Totally $1,753.64! Also on my Bank Statement they have to different names: Moving and Storage Van Nuys CA and Moving And Hauling SER. I was expecting to pay only was was on the Binding Estimate $1915.00 They Extorted this money out of me by basically Hijacking my things if I didn't agree to there higher price! I also have several copies of other unsatisfied customers and a Copy of the BBB report which gives them an "F." We Need to STOP this company from doing business like this, they just keep Extorting people out of they money and that's no Right! Maybe in we could come together Collectively and file a Class Action against them and Band them for doing business like this again hopefully with a group of us the Courts may see that this is a Scam that they are doin. I already filed a complaint with "Bureau of Household Goods and Services" YOU CAN TO, JUST GO TO THE WEB PAGE- IF THERE IS ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TAKE THEM TO COURT A LONG WITH ME PLEASE EMAIL: [email protected]

  BEWARE, THIS PLACE WILL OVER CHARGR YOU NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!
  If I could do 0 stars I would.
  The WORST moving experience ever.
  We were quoted an amount much lower than they charged!
  We tried to call them and they HUNG UP ON US while they had our stuff!!!
  They barely packed anything into boxes when they got here early and offered to help us pack for free, then we got charged DOUBLE because we went over the space limit because THE WAY THEY PACKED IT.
  We kept telling them not to do certain things, or asked them to stack things together for better space and they refused.
  They were very unprofessional and I'll never EVER use this place again!!!
  Should have known how sketchy it was when they made me write my Credit Card info on a piece of paper, along with a picture of my ID and credit card!
  They steal money!!!!!
  Spread the word!!!
  Do NOT use this place!

  Beware of this company!!!! They quote low to get your business then quadruple the rate. They moved all our belongings into the street then demanded a quadrupled rate even though we had already paid 3 deposits. 5 men surrounded us and demanded whatever cash we had to move our stuff from the street to the truck. We were afraid and gave them another deposit ($2200 cash). As of today they are demanding more money (by wire transfer) and are holding our things hostage.

  Master movers were a disaster! They charged us 3.5 times the original quote and damaged all of our boxes and furniture. This was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them to anyone. Do not use master movers. They misquote your move, they do not value your belongings, they do not respond when you call, and they are slow to deliver. This was a terrible experience and I would not recommend them to anyone.

  First of all they quoted us a low price then when they came to our home they told it was going to be more than double we had allready paid 1000 deposit.after they had packed up half of our stuff we had to give away the rest of our stuff because we were leaving the next day.then they tried to deliver 2weeks early before we closed on our house we refused delivery because we didn’t have anywhere for them to drop it off so they said they had another drop off in Canada and we would have to wait for the truck to come back .about a week before our free 30day storage was going to be up they called and said they were going to auction our stuff off and that everything was actually in a storage about 30 min away when we were waiting for them to call us on their way back. They wouldn’t give us any information on the storage until we paid the drop off Amount so we payed went to storage and found out they didn’t pay the fees and we would have to pay them to get our stuff after paying the storage yard we opens our unit to find most of our belongings damaged thousands of dollars worth of stuff destroyed. And now they will not reimburse us for the damage or storage fees. hopefully you think twice about using this company

  They were fast, responsible and reasonable. My move was from CA to Ohio. They gave a window of 30 days but I received my belongings within 2 weeks. Thanks to all of you for your hard work and commitment to giving me quality service.

  Conrad and the Master Movers team were amazing! You'll recognize immediately from when you call them via the direct dial number that these guys are efficient, reliable and super organized. We very quickly organized a big move - the movers arrived promptly on time, even helped with finishing up packing and organizing of my belongings, and did so super carefully. The packing of the van was done masterfully - there's a reason they're called Master Movers! Everything was super stable, logically packed, and arrived without a single damaged item, including expensive musical equipment, crystal glassware, computer screens and marble and glass tables. I'd highly recommend Conrad and his team and will definitely use them again.

  Masters quoted me one price for my move which entailed 264 cubic feet on their truck. Halfway through the move they said they needed additional space and the total would be more than double than what they quoted even though I outlined every item in the original estimate. I didn’t agree and they held my stuff hostage on their truck until I paid a very hefty fee for them to unload everything back in to my apartment. I felt swindled - very dishonest. Wouldn’t recommend.
