Minnesota Street Project is a cool space for artists and a great way to see contemporary art. It features many different art galleries and exhibits to roam around freely and explore across multiple buildings on the same street. Visitors can find a variety of specialized galleries, including interactive art where people can be creative. Exhibits include hand saw art, a film room, an electric wonderland showcasing trees and nature, and unique representations of communication through objects. One exhibition combines art and science with captivating fabric printed artworks hanging from a vaulted ceiling and a dark film room with multiple screens. A key feature is that there is no cost to visit and admire the amazing works of diverse and skilled artists. The complex also has an attached bar and restaurant, Besharam, and a xeriscape garden outside. The staff is friendly and artists are great in opening up about their work. With so much to see, one could probably spend the whole day exploring all the art.
Cool gallery with interesting modern art. Free admission and nice, clean bathrooms to boot.

I really love going to this space. The art is always changing. The occasional outdoor vendors are great and the energy is fantastic.

My family and I went for the JoJo art exhibit when we were in town. But we stayed to appreciate the other art exhibits on display. Definitely a cool spot tucked away in San Francisco. Would highly recommend if you have some time to spare.
