The San Francisco Public Library: Mission Bay is a clean, modern, and peaceful neighborhood gem. While it is a smaller library with a limited selection and varying weekday hours, it is well-organized and makes excellent use of its space. It offers a wide range of resources including a good variety of books, computers, private study rooms, and a teens-only area. Notable features include a poetry section, vinyl records and video games for checkout, and access to curated streaming services. The library is centrally located, easy to find, and close to Caltrain and Muni. It is described as quaint, quiet, and filled with sunshine, providing plenty of seating for reading, study, or work. The staff are consistently noted as helpful and kind. Services like ordering books for pickup are appreciated. The library is considered more adult- and teen-friendly, with a very small children's area and an almost non-existent toddler section, reflecting its location near universities. Overall, it is a great, family-friendly spot for quiet reading and kids’ programs.

This has got to be one of my new all-time favorite spots to just sit and work. I also think it's really neat that you can check out vinyl records here.
