As a visiting potter from the East Coast, MMclay was at the top of my list of studios to visit in San Francisco. I was warmly welcomed right away, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I'm a big fan of their tableware and own a range of pieces. 5 stars for that. The showroom itself is very small - post-Covid, it's a shoebox-sized area in the front of their production studio (I can't recall if it was always like this). Better to order online.

The tones, patterns, twinkles you achieved from high fire glazes always amazes me. The forms are elegant and practical here. I can’t recall if MMClay has non-functional pieces as I am drawn to beautiful, functional pieces that I can caress every morning as I enjoy a morning cup of coffee.
