I reserved a convertible Mustang and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service at the counter. The staff quickly directed me to the emerald aisle, where I was greeted warmly. Although there were no convertibles available in the aisle, the staff went above and beyond to showcase all the Mustang convertibles they had. I ended up with a brand new 2024 Mustang in impeccable condition. The car was spotlessly clean.I left the rental lot with a huge smile on my face, thanks to the outstanding customer service. There were no hidden charges, and the entire process, from pickup to return, was incredibly smooth.

Absolutely amazing service from beginning to end! They were very efficient with check-in and check-out. Our car selection was amazing (I got to pick which vehicle we drove on site) and clean! Very satisfied with their customer service and all around business. I will book through them again in the future.

Just picked up another rental at National in SFO. Tim, the Emerald Club Service Specialist, was so helpful in sorting out how to get apple carplay in a car. He went above and beyond to help me. Having someone at the car pick up to help me sort out basic buttons, plugs in the car is SUPER helpful. Thank you, Tim!

Janet on Level 2 at the SFO "Emerald Aisle" was fantastic in helping me with my rental. They had a nice fleet of cars to choose from and I wound up in a super cute red Mini Cooper Countryman. All in all, a positive experience.

I needed to pick up a rental car for my roadtrip from SF to Fresno. I went straight to the Executive Aisle, and was greeted with a slew of different Luxury Cars. They had Cadillacs, BMW's, and an Alfa Romeo. I picked the Alfa Romeo.The car was fantastic, it had a spunky personality, great amount of features and performed exceptionally well going to Fresno.National is a fantastic rental car company with great service. When I dropped the car off the first thing the lady asked was if I enjoyed my car. She let me even take pictures of it before I sadly had to leave it. I am definitely renting from National Again!

Janet is the absolute best!! She was so helpful picking out the best car for me and my mother to drive up to Napa. When I didn't see any cars that I wanted, she found me a Mercedes and said it would be perfect for our trip. And she was right - it was a brand new, clean car that was very easy to drive. Thank you, Janet!!!

I absolutely LOVE national and the Emerald Isle. We are able to pick rentals that best suit our needs for each vacation. My father in law, who is/was a loyal Avis user with top preferred status. He was impressed with how much easier the emerald Isle and commented that maybe he should switch.

Upon my arrival at San Francisco Airport, I couldn't help but notice the immense lines at Thrifty, Dollar, and Enterprise car rental counters. However, to my surprise, National had only two customers waiting in line. The helpful Concierge promptly directed me to the parking lot, where I could personally select a vehicle, due to my membership in the Emerald Club. By doing so, I bypassed at least 150 people standing in other rental lines. It was truly the most exceptional car rental experience I've had in years. I'm genuinely grateful to National for their outstanding service. Joining their Emerald Club for exclusive benefits seems like a fantastic idea after this wonderful experience!

Top customer service. The car was great condition too, I would would definitely recommend hiring from the team at National SFO. Plus we were offered an upgrade to a Dodge Challenger, which really made our trip. Our thanks to the manager Derritt who couldn't have been more helpful whilst we tried fitting our luggage in just to make sure it would all go.

I rented a full size SUV from National. I got hooked up with an almost brand new ford expedition limited trim. Rance Granger checked me out and helped me switch the card I billed to so I could get more rewards points. Great service!

We reserved a rental through another rental company and after waiting 2+ hours for a car, we inquired if any cars were available at National. Valrie assisted my husband quickly and pleasantly and got us on our way in no time. She made sure a vehicle was ready and available for us before taking our reservation. I appreciated the great customer service and the fact that we got a rental! We will definitely rent from National again.

I would recommend this as one of top and easy place to rent. Only if you reserve well in advance. They are quick, have good range and have options especially if you have to be child friendly ( need car seats booster we ) budget rentals are not cheap but give you competitive prices compared to their competitors

There were lots of clean vehicles ready for me to choose from on the Emerald aisle when I arrived, and the check out was fast and easy provided by a polite and helpful attendant. My return was aided by Nilesh who kindly greeted me, went down a check list of the things I needed to do to return the vehicle, reassured me when I forgot a few things, and sent me happily on my way. This was the best rental experience I've had!

I usually have really good experiences with National. I like that I'm able to use Emerald Aisle and bypass the check-in line. It saves me a lot of time and patience.I travel a lot for work (about once per month), and I've had a couple of instances. About 4 months ago, I had a flat tire. The tire pressure sensor was going off just a few hours after I picked up the car, so this might have been a weird fluke, and I happened to run over something the day I picked up the rental. Waiting for roadside assistance took almost 2 hours.Then, a more recent travel time, the battery in that rental car died. It was too late to call roadside assistance, so I had to Uber back to my hotel and then Uber back to the car the next morning. I was able to time myself well with how long roadside assistance was taking, so I only waited about 20 minutes this time.
