I never leave reviews - however I have been coming to Nest for 10+ years now. The older lady working there was absolutely awful and rude; I kindly asked for some tissue paper and a small box as it is a gift store and she snapped at me twice for asking. I will not be coming back, which is very sad since I love their things. Not worth the nasty attitude.

Hummm. Where do I start? Magical store with such an eclectic vibe. Vintage, books, Mexico, France. Super great colors. I had been there about 1 year ago and purchased a small tiger rug. Worth the hefty price. Sales lady was sweet.Today however, 11/3 at around 5pm, the sales people there were beyond unhappy. The Asian gentleman was sour and the older lovely lady was just lovely on the outside. Totally unfriendly and bitter. I did purchase 2 items because they were unique. I felt lucky the woman that helped at the register was sweet. Not sure I'll be going back. I think this lil cute shop needs employees with personalities.

Overpriced. They sell a hot sauce for $21 that is $8.99 elsewhere. A birthday card for $7 that should be $3. These 100%+ markups are upsetting.

We stopped in briefly in search of ornaments for our Christmas tree. A woman who worked there approached my son in law, who happened to be the only person of color in the store, and asked if he had a tag hanging out of his pocket, assuming that he had stolen something. When he told her it was only his keys and name tag she just giggled and walked away. No apology. Nothing.I don’t feel comfortable patronizing a store that is racist, rude, and unkind. And you shouldn’t either.

This place is magical! I am a curator of magical and splendor and this place is a perfect supplier of such curiosities. Hands down, Christmas here is a must stop for ornaments. Since Gump’s closed down. It is harder to find special Christmas menagerie for my tree.

Beautiful store full of interesting items. I live in the neighborhood and stop in every few weeks as things change. Customer service is lacking but sadly somewhat typical in this neighborhood. The only place you get a friendly greeting these days is at Starbucks unless they are busy. Bring your own cheery self and enjoy!

All things Parisian. Great for gifts! Francophiles and francophones rejoice being in a shop that feels like Paris!

I love browsing the colorful, eclectic, vintage items in this store that are rotated regularly. However, like other reviewers, I have had a very negative experience with their staff on multiple occasions. Most recently, I asked if I could please see a bracelet displayed in their jewelry case. The very bitter woman behind the counter shot me an annoyed look, sighed and said, “well ok, but it is a thousand dollars, and I don’t know what you’re looking to spend”. She showed me the bracelet; I remarked it wasn’t quite the right size. She replied, “well this is standard size, but WHATEVER”. 3 rude behaviors = 3 strikes, you’re out. If I ever go in there again, it will be to find items that I’ll subsequently purchase online (I’ve already done that with a few items they have). I don’t care what accolades this store might get, or from whom - if you’re a j*** to me, you will NOT be getting my business, and I’ll be spreading the word about my experience.

A beautifully curated shop. You are greeted with bright colors, vintage pieces, unique gifts, etc. HOWEVER, don’t be blinded by the aesthetics of this store. Behind the counter, you will find two of the coldest and most bitter people on that block. It was the lack of basic mannerism and warmth that cancels out what could’ve been a lovely shopping experience.

Beautiful shop with gorgeous items. 100% you need to go out of your way to visit and just sneak a peek at all of the interesting and unique items that this shop carries. From clothing, jewelry, decor, and stunning gifts.. there is something for everyone and at every price point. So many negative reviews, but I had a wonderful experience with the person behind the counter today. They were wonderful. And I walked out with quite a few items. Don't let this shop be a casualty of the pandemic. Please shop.

If you would like to feel not welcomed or insignificant then shop here. I never really write reviews, but I hope these people do some self reflection. The staff is not welcoming or helpful. They really looked at me as a bother. I'm trying to only shop local for gifts, but wow do I wish I had shopped else where. I would also like to let everyone know of course they tended and pampered to the old lady who spent $1000. I mean that's what I get for shopping in pac heights, but still my money is just as good. Be kind to your shoppers. Also social distance. The clerks barely had their masks covering their face. A cramped covid breading ground!
