About Next Door Shelter
Next Door Shelter is a safe place to sleep for those facing homelessness, described as both excellent and not recommended. It is needed. Some find it an excellent place with friendly staff, while others note a lack of humanity and that staff can be inappropriate. Case managers were not really there. Guests advise keeping to yourself, not judging others, and using common sense to gain respect. It is only temporary and a place to avoid getting sucked into the life. While some had mixed feelings, others credit the shelter with saving their lives, helping them move from the cold hard street to housing.

It's not a hotel, but the staff seem to at least want to make sure you're okay. Just stay away from the sweet and sour tofu. It's not sweet or sour.

Your not comfortable with it but you know you going to eat and sleep inside.I was faced with homeless and I got in and out as soon as I could.

It's not what you want but if you need to the staffing is better than most other temporary shelters
