If I need Mediterranean and middle eastern spices and ingredients, I come here to get most . They also have fresh veggies and fruits at reasonable prices. They have awesome Mediterranean types of cheese such as feta .

I adore this Middle Eastern market; it's my go-to for finding Sangak bread (Persian lavash), sour cherry jam, and fresh, crisp Persian cucumbers. Recently, I needed assistance in choosing the right feta from their extensive selection, and the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful. I'm so happy to have this market not too far from my home

We have been going there for vegetables, fruits, and European and mideastern groceries for over 30 years. Arguably, nobody else in the city has a better selection in the city for olives, fetas, and dairy.

I never thought I would fall in love with this Parkside Farmer's Market, but I have. It's literally walking distance 1 block from where I am, and it's been fantastic. They have all the produce and dried spices I could need at my fingertips, which has been so amazing!!!!! So convenient to walk on over, and get a fresh bunch of cilantro, garlic, dried oregano, etc. The service here is great. I feel the cashiers are all friendly. The only thing I ding them 1 star for is the credit card minimum. I always have to use cash here, since I'm only buying 1-2 things at a time, but I guess that's standard. Will continue to support them for years to come!!!!!

I used to love buying groceries here until I had to move. I still constantly think about it, especially the variety of jams and marmalades.

Good quality produce, fruits albeit on a pricier side. You can find Iranian items and breads like sangak/lavash here.

The produce here is always high quality and cheap! It never misses. I also love buying cheese and eastern European or middle eastern food here.

Everyone knows about Guerra Meats and this produce market just a block away is the perfect complement to it.They carry a great selection of Bob’s Red Mill flour/grain (more than Whole Fools and Gus’) along with plenty of dried beans and legumes for stews. Produce is their forte, but you can also pick up labne and ayran here.My quintessential Taraval errand run is: Guerra -> Parkside Farmers Market -> California Bakery for a snack.

I previously enjoyed shopping here as there is a large variety of produce here. Unfortunately, the owner will lie to your face and insult you. I parked my car on Saturday next to the shop and I get threatened with a $150 ticket the moment I step out of my car. I try to be nice and clarify with him "I'm sorry, the curb says loading zone Monday - Friday and it's a Saturday." He replies: "it doesn't matter! Can you read? It says loading zone. You can park anywhere!" I try to stay calm and explain to him that it is legal for me to park there. He yells at me "You are so hard headed and don't listen! You can't park here. For sure I will call SFMTA on you!" Appalled by his lies and threats, I offer to move my car forward a bit to create space for him. Despite all of my efforts to be nice, he is unwavering, insisting that I am wrong even though the yellow curb clearly says mon-fri. I can no longer support such a business. Be careful, he will get aggressive and threaten you with SFMTA (even if you're doing nothing wrong.)

Very kind staff. Nice selection of veggies and fresh fruits...good middle Eastern food. As close to Berkeley Bowl as I have found in San Francisco. The Turkish coffee they sell is amazing.

Fresh produce, reasonably priced. It also has a variety of flatbreads and vegetarian foods. I enjoy the selection of canned and jarred foods as well. Bobs Red is well represented here. The people working here are very friendly and helpful.

Nice produce store, with nice products and similar prices (if not cheaper) than Safeway or Whole Foods. The staff are all very nice and work hard to keep the store presentable and clean. I especially like a lot of their beverages. A wide variety to choose from and everything is kept very fresh. I've been coming here since I was 6 and would recommend it to anyone passing by.
