Good coffee, creative Huevos Rancheros, classy, fluffy pancakes. Had breakfast everyday there when we visited SF. ❤️

The Pinecrest diner is an excellent example of an American standby restaurant, the diner. The pasta carbonara was a little weak on garlic but chock full of mushrooms and prosciutto. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the chili cheese fries should not be missed.

We loved this place so much that we came back for seconds. This place has excellent customer service and the food is great too. Great atmosphere as we do not have these sort back in Australia.

This is one of the few remaining 24 h diners in SF. The food is standard diner fare, but the service was amazing. Major shout-out to Anna who definitely went above and beyond!

An original diner as you would imagine. Super nice staff and good food. Like everything in San Francisco, the price is a bit expensive, but ok.Kid-friendliness: Food for our daughter was heated without any problems. ?

This place really deserves 3.8 rating, which isn't to say it is bad at all, it's exactly what you expect of this style of restaurant. The Pinecrest dinner is clean, the service is happy and helpful. It brought me back to the classic regular restaurants of my younger days: good food, bottomless coffee, all with a smile. The egg dishes were great. The French toast was average, with exactly 2 slices of bread, but zero touch of fresh fruit with it.Kid-friendliness: Totally a place to bring kids of all ages. Roomy and friendly service for everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. Ground-level, flat surface. The restaurant itself is roomy, so can accommodate wheelchairs of different varieties.I just don't know about the bathroom space.

Food is yummy. Mighty Moose was a big plate. Good for when you're starving.Didn't really like the service tho. Waitress wasn't attentive and worked slowly.

This diner is a reliable choice for breakfast. It's my second visit, and I'm not disappointed. The food is genuinely delicious. The pancakes are generously sized, thick, and flavorful, served with quality maple syrup and butter. I also appreciate the option of non-pork bacon, like turkey or vegetarian, which are equally tasty. The service is excellent and efficient, with exceptionally friendly waitstaff. My only gripe is that the prices seem a bit steep for a simple breakfast, at $30 per person.

Waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Issue arose as they were seating people based on group size not arrival time. We were a pair, and 15 minutes after our arrival a group of three arrived and were given priority. They also attempted to sit a further group of four down before us at 20 minutes waiting, but thankfully they told the server off for this and we ordered. They then messed up the order, left out the drinks and attempted to charge us.Not great at all.

This is the best diner in San Francisco - and quite possibly in the USA :) I've been here so many times now - which says something as I live in another continent. The quality has been consistently high over the years. Love the place!

great atmosphere and service, but the food... so-so - unimpressive
