Could not recommend Precision Auto Repair enough! John and the team are incredibly friendly, professional, and communicative. They thoroughly explain everything (which is huge for me because I know nothing) and always offer service options. So glad to have a garage I can wholeheartedly trust.

I had a check engine light and I brought it into the dealership. The dealership quoted me 2x the standard price for parts and labor so I called around to get another quote (probably 5 auto shops). Precision was the 5th place I called since no one else was able to get back to me quickly. Precision sent me a reasonable quote within minutes. When I arrived John Rodriguez was extremely friendly and said they could turn it around in less than a day. I barely ever leave reviews but I felt like I needed to for Precision Auto Repair. They honestly made my day so much better after getting no help from other shops that were closer to where we are staying. We are from out of state so we don’t have a regular auto shop in SF. But if we did live here, I’d definitely bring my business to these guys. Really appreciate it!

It's been two years since I found Precision Auto. My car could not be in better hands or in better shape. They are courteous and skillful. The communication is great. I find their pricing fair, much better than the dealership I had always used before. They are really top notch mechanics.

After 10 years of going to the dealership, I decided to branch out and try a highly recommended local auto service shop. I could not be happier with Precision Auto. They are friendly, extremely quick, absolutely reasonable, and they actually knew who I and my car were, as opposed to the dealership Who never had any history of service on my car and who never were able to answer a question or return a call.
My main reason for leaving the dealership was that every time I went in they recommended three to 5000 $ in repairs for a car that was worth about 7000. So happy to have found this great local shop that takes such pride in their work.

Experience here was great. John is a really nice guy.
EDIT: My car was broken into this past weekend. I had an overall feeling of discomfort after that happened, and John and his team were kind enough to check and make sure there were no other damages made to my car. That was a really astonishing, positive thing that happened after something bad happening, so my original 5 star review remains 5 stars!
