I have strong feelings about even if you want to try every zero gravity chair in the store they would still be pretty kind,How do I know?Don’t ask.-I would name the place 'happy lumbar' though

The folks at Relax the Back on Van Ness/SF are AMAZING - I bought an X-Chair from them in May 2023 (which I LOVE), and a few months later the vibrating heater stopped working. I called the store to ask what I should do (there's a 3-year warranty on the X-Chairs), and one of the managers, Pam, told me they had a replacement at the store for this, and I could just come by and pick it up. I told her I would need to make arrangements and get back to them, as I live in Novato (North Bay) which is about 30 miles away. Pam asked me which exit in Novato, and when I told her, she said she would come to my house and drop off the part and install the new one for me. I was flabbergasted! I don't remember the last time I got customer service like this! It turns out that Pam lives not too far from me, and she was happy to drop by on her way home from work and install the new part. She showed up right when she said she would, and it took about 3 minutes for her to change out the part. It works great! I would give this store 100 stars if I could, they are absolutely wonderful and their products are top of the line.

AMAZING! The quality of products is extremely high, but what really sets RTB apart is its customer service. We were lucky to have Aaron Resnik help us pick out two office chairs we absolutely love, and have been blown away with his help and support in all things related to the chair - delivery/showing us how to use/all and any questions. HIGHLY recommend this shop.

This is a great store-the staff (John the manager, and Pam the owner) were so knowledgeable about their great inventory of therapeutic chairs, and so responsive to any concerns I had. John personally came to my office, no charge, to show me how to adjust my chair. There is real investment in helping customers, definitely a great brick and mortar experience!

Love the chair. Recently had back surgery - sitting in this chair is the equivalent of a couple of pain pills. Worth the investment. I will be enjoying it for years.

I purchased a Lifeform Executive Highback Office Chair here, and it was a great experience. The owner was very patient, and walked me through all of the chairs features and the different model types. I received the chair about a week or so after ordering, and it is absolutely amazing. I will be coming back if I have any other ergonomic furniture needs in the future.

Bought a chair on Dec 11th, 2020 which was supposed to be delivered by the first of the year. My credit card was charged the entire price of the chair, 4000.00 on Dec 11th, 2020 and chair was not delivered until two months later. Bad business practice! I'll buy online next time.

At 6'8" I need special chairs to support my body. Over the past 20+ years I've purchased 3 chairs-- an ergonomic desk chair and zero gravity chair for my office, and I just recently bought another zero gravity chair for my home. Their products aren't cheap, but you do get what you pay for. I've been very pleased with the quality and durability of their products--again, I've had 2 of their chairs for over 20 years with absolutely no problems. I was helped by Tim with my most recent purchase. He was super knowledgeable, very helpful, and guided me to the chair that was best for me. I thought I needed a chair that cost almost twice as much as the one I ended up buying. Tim explained to me how the CHEAPER one was actually better for me. What salesperson does that??? Tim's expertise--and integrity--once again validated my trust in their products and keeps me coming back when needed.

I needed to order a gift card over the phone, and my calls/emails were answered quickly and politely. Although I wish there were an online gift card ordering option, it did feel great to be treated like a human/valued customer!

My wife and I just experienced some of the best customer service we've had in a while. Tim K. was great and very helpful in us making a decision to purchase a mattress. Go ask for Tim if you need advice on buying great ergonomic chair or mattress.

These guys are GREAT! I have chronic back pain. Last year we bought a massage chair (LOVE IT). Earlier this year I bought the X1 office chair (LOVE IT). And now we're looking at a zero gravity chairI get same day replies on emails; great product tips; and super covid safe. E.g., just walk in for two minutes to try out the chair, but you can do all the purchasing and research online.

Excellent customer service. I went in today to get new wheels for a chair I bought years ago. Staff was super helpful!
