Highly recommend! They packed my kitchen and loaded a 2-bdrm apartment's worth of belongings, held them in storage and 6-mo later moved me into a new home. Very hard working and responsive crew.

Sadly the quality of service has gone downhill. The new guy from Russia seemed to be the only one who cared and showed a real effort. The job took far too long, the movers weren't prepared, and the cost was very high. At the end, the lead move was asking for $100 tip each of them for a 21 mile relocation. That wasn't happening.

The movers took 10 hours to move 2 bdrm apartment but yet they only finished the kitchen and half a bedroom. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money. This company totally unreliable and very careless with the customers merchandise. Management NOT OWNING UP TO THE MOVERS INADEQUATE PERFORMANCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY.

These were the worst movers I have ever worked with, and I have moved 7 times since 2011.Do yourself a favor and book somebody else.Sean was very easy to work with in setting up the quote, and the price is reasonable. However, they do not offer full value protection, and the movers were very careless. We paid for full packing and they did not protect our belongings adequately.Multiple items were damaged and they completely destroyed our TV. They broke our bed frame because they did not want to take it apart. If it were only that it wouldn't have been a big deal. However it became pretty clear that these movers did not treat our belongings with proper care. Several items were in the truck with little to no protection.Sean offered $200 for the bed frame but the rest was covered by their standard $0.60 per lb, so in the end we received $400 for over 3k worth of damage.Avoid avoid avoid.

Was very professional. Wrapped up my furniture to avoid damage. Arranged and rearranged furniture the way I wanted. They were on time and I didn't have to wait.

I cannot thank Route 66 Moving, specifically the VS Crew, enough for their work in moving our items from San Francisco to Sacramento. We lived in a third floor SF apartment WITHOUT elevators and they handled it like champions! I am a tiny woman, so moving everything by myself and my husband would've been a nightmare. VS Crew was polite, efficient, and had great communication throughout the process. They took great care of all of our bulky items, and even our huge pieces (like 5'+ tall) of cat furniture. We could never imagine going back to moving on our own - we would hire them again in a heartbeat (and maybe also take advantage of their packing/unpacking service as well). Thank you VS team for your great work! Also shout out to Sean, who we worked with on scheduling and our initial estimate. He was extremely responsive and I appreciated the transparency in terms of cost and timing.

With help of VS crew, my move was absolutely seamless. The team is fast and has great attention to detail when it come to taking care of fragile things. The team is very professional, polite, and willing to go an extra mile. The team was very careful with all boxes that contained dishes and other things. They took a great care to wrap all my furniture and mattress to avoid scabs and dirt. This is not my first time engaging a moving company, but this was by far the best experience I had.

Because I never learn, I waited too late to use any of the moving companies that were personally recommended to me, but I'm very fortunate to have found Route 66 Moving and Storage. They did the move in exactly the time promised, for precisely the amount quoted, no damage, great communication and I recommended them highly!

The VS crew were extremely helpful and did a great job with my move in San Francisco. I had a few furniture items (queen bed, tv, dresser, two-seat couch, desk) to move from my apartment into a storage unit and the guys were fast, responsive, and careful with my things. The price is a bargain too so I'd highly recommend moving with this company.

I was not happy by their service and billing method. Waste of money. They charge minimum 3 hours even if the job is done within 1 and half hour. Plus $60 for the truck even for 0.7 miles moving distance.

We have used Route 66 twice and can’t say enough good things about them!! The phone coordinator Sean is on it, and the crews were so hardworking, careful, and got our things moved out when we were in a pinch. Two thumbs way up!

VS crew did an amazing job with my recent move. It was a huge job with a lot of sensitive electronics and audio gear, and they handled everything with expert care, soft wrapped everything super securely and safely, and made sure everything ended up in the right place. It ended up taking more than a full work day because we have sooooo much stuff, but they made sure everything made it in and helped set up in our new home. They were super nice and accommodating of our requests and needs. I highly recommend them and am so happy with their services! This is my second time working with Route 66 and I have been very satisfied both times!

February 12, 2022, moving from Hayward to Fresno working with Route 66 Moving was a good experience overall. The process from start to end was well documented, informative, and handled in a timely and professional manner. Sean, the account manager was very helpful with setting up the move and explaining the logistics and prices.The movers, Georgii and his partner was awesome to work with. They called ahead on moving day to give an estimated time of arrival and even showed up a bit ahead of schedule. I thought I had good packing and spacial awareness skills until I saw them do their magic. Georgii and his partner was professional, very efficient, handled items with care, confirmed placement of items as needed, and was very friendly and always displayed a pleasant attitude (despite the physical/mental stress of a move).I would recommended Route 66 Moving services and would use them again without hesitation.

Moving is a pain for everyone but Route 66 movers made it super easy. We did a long distance move and on both ends , the service was exceptional! They actually treated our stuff WAY better then we would have , if moving it ourselves.
