They have a wonderful texting notification system that helps me always know when I have a prescription refill ready. Also the staff is kind and very patient. There is never a long wait to be seen. All in all this is a great pharmacy.

I'm giving a one star because of the owner of Safeway riding a message for all surrounding good praises on the pharmacy but I thought this was a grocery store that sells groceries and I find it interesting that the honor surrounds the attention towards pharmaceutical medications which for anybody that lives in actual reality will probably agree many scandals and manipulation takes place within America's pharmaceutical meds. So owner tell us how your groceries are? Because obviously all your attention is shown towards medications which you seem to care more about

This is not a review of staff, I’m sure they’re nice but they are clearly understaffed. Website says walk in for vaccines but I wouldn’t even make an appointment as you will be waiting for awhile. Waited 15 minutes and not a dent was made in the line of 6 people so I left.

My local pharmacy. Nothing fancy here, but super convenient. At least for me. I like being able to multitask the picking up of my meds while grabbing a sandwich at the Deli or other shopping. I have found the staff to be quite friendly, even when they are getting slammed with customers.

Waiting in line I noticed the inoculations are done in the liquor department. No screen, no privacy. I felt empathy for the man who was sitting there getting his shot. Please fix this.

Deli sandwiches are good, but don't expect to get what you order. Those ladies kind of start with your basic order then just kind of do whatever they want with it. Even the same specialty sandwich from the menu can come out different on different days.All the usual grocery selection you would expect from Safeway.Bathrooms are OK, usually kind of stinky.Plenty of free parking in the parking lot, and very strict on the time limits.If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Michael should have retired instead of being transferred from Bay Street. He knows what he did, he was banging my groceries and glass was involved...Prego spaghetti sauce, hot sauce..it was deliberate. He was rude on Bay Street in the produce dept.,

I’m here at the Safeway parking lot and noticed the security guard taking photos of cars which I think is normal but then he went on to take photo of someone inside the car. Very weird thing to do.I recorded some of it.,I don’t think that an appropriate thing to do.

This is a horrible store. All the employees are rude and need to be trained on etiquette & ethics. We are all humans trying to get by in this world. Just nothing but unhelpful or rude folks here. So disappointing, even the managers don't want to be there. They cover for their rude staff by lying. It's just so pathetic & sad. No wonder they are trying to be bought out again. CEO greed, no accountability for the people at the store. Shame shame shame. Karma.

My experience at this Pharmacy was only with a woman named Christina Dtan. Rude, aggressive, prejudiced, and classless. The manager Daniel was less than helpful, but regardless, Christina Dtan, the Pharmacist on duty in the morning on July 22nd, 2023 needs to be removed from this customer-facing role. I got a notification on the Safeway app that my prescription was ready for pickup. I work in Burlingame and live in a totally different neighborhood, and I only come to pick up my prescription here because I receive a great GoodRX discount. Not only did she close the gate on my face while at the window, but she called security and called for other store employees to "watch me" as I am standing at the counter calling the customer service line, waiting to speak with a manager. She treated me like a wasn't even a human being. She didn't offer any solution other than me standing there for 45 minutes. If I were in her position, I would do my best to understand the circumstances of the people that come to my window. Because that's what proper customer service is about. She told me to move from her window, she closed the gate while I was standing at the window. She didn't offer to transfer the prescription to a Safeway location near my job. She just dismissed me. Her treatment of me was embarrassing. I felt like she was doing everything in her power to get me out of character so I can cause a scene, which is not in my nature. I think she was treating me this way because I'm black. That is truly how I feel. There was no reason for her to react the way she did to me, other than a prejudice that she may feel towards black people. I have filed a complaint with Safeway and I will file a complaint with the state. I implore Safeway to pull the camera footage and hopefully, audio because that would confirm my experience. It's 9am, and I'm standing at the counter and you close the gate? My experience today at this store will not be ignored. Christina Dtan needs to be dealt with by Human Resources and any other entity that has jurisdiction of pharmacists. I would HATE for anyone to be treated the way I was today. As if I didn't matter. So please, proceed with caution, if you are a black person and you decide to pick up a prescription here. Deal with anyone except Christina Dtan. I will be following up regularly. I have a reference number, and I will be taking my concerns to social media and news outlets. I want her to be fired. It's what she deserves.
