Are you in the market for ROTTEN MEAT? This is your place!
I brought my $20 flatiron steak home and promptly cut open the package and-- WHAM!--the stench of decaying flesh flooded my kitchen. Sadly, this isn't the first time I've been burned but it's certainly the last.
Clearly, the people entrusted with keeping meat at a safe temperature at all times cannot be bothered to do so.
What's more, when I returned it and requested my money back, I was treated like a nuisance--not even an attempt at an apology was made.
Avoid this location if you value your precious time.

I shop here all the time, the deli has good food and there's always something on sale. Love $5 Friday at Safeway. They changed the layout, only have the doors on Webster in operation due to thieves they also close early because of them. Can't go anytime you need something. The plus is their Asian section has more, I can get my bubble milk tea in a can there, my favorite Japanese ramen, a good selection of sauces and pork belly. Don't know where the moved the Revive to, it's my favorite kombucha soda. Still a great place to find most of what I need.

Store has had to get rid of self checkout due to rampant theft and so even if you have only 2 items to checkout, stand in long lines, better off at the marina Safeway instead.
Update: checkout lines have improved!

After finishing my shopping and outside of the store I was assaulted with bear mace by 2 security guards from Safeway! They ended up stealing my bag of paid for groceries accusing me of shoplifting!! They pushed me, grabbed me & taunted me verbally as they emptied 2 full cans of mace in my face at point blank range! I thought I was going to drown and definitely wished I were dead for the following several hours suffering the effects of the attack! I think I am going to seek a attorney and for sure will never shop there again. I'm told I am not a isolated incident but several other people have had similar experiences so beware 4TH & KING location is run by thugs and criminals.

Buy beef, pork, chicken, vegetables, seafood, fruits, butter, jam, bread, cakes, red wine, soda, seasonings, dish soap, and kitchen utensils. The service is very good, the price is generally good.

the rats are a pretty touch to the Safeway?the way they run between isles as I'm trying to grab an item is very exquisite along with everything locked up because someones stealing every 5 seconds. the bathroom smells so good too I wanna throw up every time I have to use it. So if you wanna risk getting sick and hearing the cops jump someone for stealing every 5 minutes I highly recommend this Safeway you you. And don't even get me started on the long lines! omg you can talk to the person next to you for hours in this store because of how slow the lines are
